Don Fonte
Has anyone ever been to other games in Scotland not involving Aberdeen? I'm thinking about maybe heading to Hibs v Sevco on Saturday seeing as we're not playing until Sunday. Don't really have strong feelings on Hibs but not sure how it'd be sitting in amongst them. Also not sure if I could stomach seeing the Hun singing their party songs or even worse celebrating a goal or win. It's a free ticket so wouldn't be putting any money into another team. Should I head to the game or just sit in the pub all day? Link to comment
tup
I'd go aye. I was tempted by Hertz Alloa last week. But I decided it would be pish, wisely. I'd be fully supporting Hibs in the fixture. Link to comment
caledonia
You could watch it in the pub as its on sky TV Link to comment
fifered
I went to dunfermline v the oldco huns a number of years ago, pars end obviously but had various huns around me in the home end. Two of them coming away with some ridiculous bigoted shite throughout and I ended up in an argument with them. Stewards did fuck all to stop them. Hun member of my family fell out with me big style because I should have apparently not been bothered by huns in the pars end singing religious shite. Link to comment
Don Fonte
Caledonia, I'm not actually fussed by the game, if it was on in the pub i'd perhaps give it the occasional glance over the top of my pint. Enjoy attending games though. Would certainly be wanting Hibs to win although I think it would be fairly obvious to all at the game i'm not a Hibs fan. Link to comment

That's no loss then, if it was me I'd probably tell said Hun to fuck himself and never speak to him again. Link to comment
BillyStarkDivinHeeder
I was thinking about going down to Easter road as well. Think you need to be on the database to get a ticket though. Went to Brechin v Annan a few weeks ago. 4-2 thriller - was nae bad. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
To go or not to go?You decide, or are you actually asking for permission? It's a game of football. You're not joining a cult. Easy choice as long as it's nae pissing rain Link to comment

The Oxford Don
At my parents place in Perth at the mo, otherwise had I been back in my own gaffe near Edinburgh I would definitely have gone along to ER on Saturday to cheer Hibs on. I say go for it. 1 Link to comment

tightbreeks
took the father in law to sunderland, wank over the epl bro-in-law was there to. it was for something to do. out of all the rest, hibs as a club seem to be a bit different from the others. old man liked them. still, nothing like beating them at easter road. Sheeptastic
Went to Falkirk-theRangers in the cup once, Bairns lost 1-0 at home. Sat in the Falkirk end and it was alright but wouldn't do it again. If you're not going to the Dons, don't go at all I reckon. Link to comment

a don in oz
I've never been one for going to games of teams I don't support. Aberdeen games. Peterhead games. Even Brisbane team games (Strikers and now Roar). I'll go to all them. Even there though I never enjoy a game as much as an Aberdeen game. It's the one that gets my blood going. It's the one that gets me involved, cheering, swearing, the rest of it. The rest... they always feel like there's no personal angst or joy at stake in it so they can be a bit going through the motions. Certainly with Brisbane games anyway. That said I'll be watching that game tonight since someone mentioned it's on the box. Only in the hope that I see the NewHun get spanked. Link to comment
Dal Riata Don
Can you cheer another team's goal? Are you willing to explain yourself to the other punters around you if you don't? Link to comment
Poodler
Can you cheer another team's goal? Are you willing to explain yourself to the other punters around you if you don't?I can and do, I'm a tourist, their club is getting the money so why would they moan at me? I had a good day out at Orient a couple of years ago, qpr too. Never had a bad experience in all of the grounds in London, south east that I've been too just cos I'm not a supporter. I hardly cheer a dons goal though, I'm only vocal when Jamie Langfield makes a mistake. Make of that what you will. Link to comment
Robbie Winters
Been to plenty over the years and even what used to be known as an Old Firm game. The atmosphere was shite and all the hype is just a hoax, lucky if there was about 8000 folk there. The BBC add SFX to jazz it up. It was something akin to probably what an Ross County v ICT game match atmosphere is like. Now Cowdenbeath v Dunfermline was another story Link to comment

Stay about a couple of miles from Easter Rd, in Stockbridge if you know Edinburgh. Link to comment

Are you willing to explain yourself to the other punters around you if you don't?I'd be going with a couple Hibs fans so no explaining needed to them. I'd go as far as standing up and applauding a Hibs goal, sure I'd be fine. Link to comment
muttonhumper
Has anyone ever been to other games in Scotland not involving Aberdeen? Been to heaps, but only following a couple o' my cousins who played/managed for ICT & Peterheed in the SFL and various teams in the Highland League. All good/fantastic days out. Very enjoyable. As alluded to earlier on about celebrating the goals, this was easy as it was family we were following. Just an excuse to get blootered in nice wi' toons really. ...and lend support to the loons. Oh, also went to the Dundee v the now defunct Glasgow Rangers cup final wi' my Dundee supporting mate.Inadvertently ended up scrapping wi' utter hun minks in the middle of glesga. Much disinfecting required.Odious, unkempt, bigoted fucktards. Link to comment

I would loved to have gone to all the grounds to see the Dons play but realised that would be unlikely. Link to comment
Don Fonte
Never did go today, was at the train station earlier and saw numerous Huns descending on Edinburgh and couldn't be bothered after that. Wish I had now. Link to comment
