Absolutely nothing in that article suggesting McInnes tried to sign him.  Just speculation that the Huns MIGHT have been willing to offer him to us as part of the Scott Wright transfer.

he improved afterwards tbf but his level has been pretty much proven to be below that of top flight. 
He’ll maybe get about a dozen goals (if not on penalties) at best for Hearts.
