Smelly Poo Forces Ba Flight To Land

Recommended Posts

A lot of bacteria from diarrhoea can be airborne and usually becomes symptomatic within 24 hours in a new host. Inside a pressurised cabin these germs potentially could have been passed on to all on board. Superb leadership from the pilot if you ask me.

That's a load of rubbish.

I've survived nearly a month in india and didn't get poorly once.

Nothing wrong with pooh other than a slight unpleasant smell.

Dubai? My suspicions turn to The Boofon :sherlock:

Whatever celebrity he was sat next to has suffered him and then the flight being diverted :clangers2:

Read about this the other day.

I fly to Muscat not Dubai.

Pretty sure the fault lies with the actual toilet and not the liquid shit that was produced. The only way a shit could force a flight to turn round would be if it was left on the floor (who would do such a thing) and not cleaned up.

Pointless story. The flight was turned around because the shitter was leaking, not because someone took a stinky shite.

Boof,

How did the flight smell the day you met Buzz??

I don't remember anything different from any other flight regarding smells in the air Dayts.

I was up front in Business so it'd likely have been fresh and not a bit whiffy like up the back with the plebs.

Thanks for that Boof, I suspected the plane would have been smelling in tip top shape, I don't imagine Buzz would stand for anything less.

Glad to hear the encounter happened in Business class, anything else you can tell us about the meeting or is it confidential.

I could tell you hours worth of information on this Dayts but some folk would probably get a bit miffed at the details shared so best kept for the next hat meet.

I don't like to mention it too much. Likewise with being held hostage by terrorists. Some things are best left alone.

You know yourself what it's like.

As someone who doesn't like blowing my own trumpet I fully understand the need to keep things under one's hat on occasion, I look forward to the next hat meet so I can hear all about it, must have been the most fascinating flight.

Is it ok to let some people know I've met someone who has met Buzz?? I don't like name dropping but it's certainly an ice breaker should I ever attend any cocktail parties or such with strangers.

Not if you ever use more than one question mark after his name ever again.

Poor form pal.

It's almost as if you're questioning whether he's been on the moon or not.

I won't stand for that.

Can you be a hostage if the terrorists don't even know you're there?

Buzz was on some sky at night program last night, think it's on again today, going on about the eclipse, I didn't watch so not sure if he mentioned you Boof.

I'm giving the eclipse a miss btw, saw the last one, nothing exciting, moon eclipse is better.

I never saw it either Dayts so couldn't comment.

I'll miss the solar eclipse tomorrow as I'm too far South and far from the UK.

Hugely disappointed. We're very fortunate in Scotland this time round to get a cracking % of cover.

One not to be missed tomorrow. I'd make the effort mate. The Universe in all it's glory.

Astonishing that centuries ago they had the ability to predict these events without the enormous amount of technology we have at our disposal today.

If you're not awe struck with the eclipse tomorrow you should be.
