that whole story is one that especially grabs my attention as it is very close to home to me

 

when i first moved into this flat (single, i may add), all of my neighbours were brilliant

 

all generally my age and everyone got on well

 

i got on particularly well with one of them and he started playing in my 7s teams, going on nights out, coming up for champs league games - it was the perfect bromance

 

BUT...he had a twisted gf

 

she was hot, no denying that...but she was kiniving

 

he worked away one day of the week, therefore wasnt at home one night of the week

 

on those nights, i invited her up and made dinner for us..as friends, obviously

 

shed sit there the whole night, just as friends

 

only thing is...when we all went out, when she got drunk...she kissed me...now...i know i could have pulled back, but i was drunk too

 

and she always did the instigating

 

anyway, this went on like this for maybe a year until one morning my pal text me and told me that she had "told him everything and stay away from me because i dont know what ill do"....fairly reasonable response!!!

 

however i never did know what version she told him...

 

at first, he was thorny as hell, but now we'll chat away in the car park...he even came up to one of my last boys nights, gave me a hug and told me he was fine with it now

 

and this is where im like spencer in a way...

 

my friendship with this guy was exactly the same...i was the alpha and he was the more timid one

 

even tho i didnt do anything wrong, it still rankles as one of the biggest mistakes of my life as i genuinely loved that guy
