a don in oz
It sounds excellent! All home games covered as well as away games covered by other broadcasters. Commentary by the RedTV guys and Russell instead of Alba or some English no mark who barely has any idea of the teams never mind the players. Looks good. http://www.afc.co.uk/news/6224 Link to comment

StandFree1982
I signed in with my temporary password they gave me and it said that I don't have a subscription.... Do you need to subscribe again? I'd have thought they would have passed all this through onto the new system. I can log into the old site and I have a subscription there, but the new site doesn't. Link to comment
a don in oz
Yep, it says you need to subscribe again. Any existing subscription (if it was annual) gets a pro-rata refund. I was wondering when my monthly one would come out but it hadn't since 2 months ago... so that's why. Just paid my GBP85 for it. Link to comment
StandFree1982
ok cheers. I've not renewed my ST yet so might wait and get that first to save myself a tenner. 1 Link to comment
WA_Don
£85 for the season? They do half season passes? Or just the month to month like the last redtv? As for the new game coverage, I'm ecstatic about every home game being covered aswell as the odd away, and in HD! It was always frustrating having a spate of games being covered and getting used to it then nothing for weeks Link to comment
a don in oz
Nope, it's only a one off (annual) purchase now. I used to do the monthly but only option was the full price. GBP85 (approx AUD170) going up to GBP90 in August. edit: full of shit, yep there is the subscription. i just blocked it out since it is so much more than the annual. Though it does translate right now to AUD170, that bit was right at least. Link to comment
WA_Don
Just had a peek, one off payment of £85 or £8.99 a month I'll just go for the annual subscription. Also checked exchange rate, £85 is going for AU$130 Can't really begrudge that especially if it's staying within the club Link to comment

Sonoftherock
Great news I'll be seeing more games than I did when I was a season ticket holder... to be honest, it was probably a close run thing this season. I was quite happy with the number of games we got. Link to comment

I did mine via Mastercard and it came to AUD170.89. Even Google says the flat exchange rate is about 167. There's also the option to pay it monthly @ £5.99. Yeah I blocked it out because it's much more expensive (the International RedTV one is £8.99/m) Link to comment

RAZOR
I just searched for Steven Craig and nothing came up. For that reason, it's a no from me. Link to comment
a don in oz
Yeah you need to do the annual subscription before you get that access. Link to comment
BWG
Is anyone else having a problem with the 5.99 subscription? It still thinks I'm a free member after signing up and giving payment details. This new Red TV isn't run by a Nigerian prince per chance is it? EDIT: It doesn't update your subscription status unless you manually log off and back in. If you're over zealous with the subscribing like me and hit the subscribe button again you'll end up with two subscriptions. This e-mail sorted me out right away though - redtv@sportsmediagb.com Link to comment
Redforever86
Has anyone tried using a VPN or IP blocker to watch the away games on RedTV international while in the UK? Link to comment
BWG
Has anyone tried using a VPN or IP blocker to watch the away games on RedTV international while in the UK? It didn't work on the old red tv because it used flash. In theory it should work with the new one if it's using html 5, which I assume it is if it works on mobile devices, however part of the subscription process requires you to have a postcode/zip code that is registered to the card you're using to pay. So unless you've got access to an international account already I think you'll struggle like. Link to comment

The advertisement seemed to say if you travelled away for work often, which made me think they might accept a card from Scotland. Maybe they expect a card based in your other place of work... a don in oz
Has anyone tried using a VPN or IP blocker to watch the away games on RedTV international while in the UK? I used my RedTV International while in the UK to watch a game with my old man. I used a freebie VPN service on my Mac to do so. So *that* worked. I don't know if it only works if you've bought or subscribed with a non-UK card though. Link to comment

360
Away games you fud. I renewed my season ticket yesterday, when you getting yours? 2 days ago. A.K.A. One day before you grudgingly gave the Reds your cash. Link to comment
csdonz
Renewed my Black and Gold ST last week and was told B&G get exclusive discount on the all new Red TV! A fiver, a whole crisp, £5 discount Probs won't bother getting it. Seems a bit much to pay for a local when you go to most games and when you need commentary radio usually covers it anyway. Highlights are on social media asap anyway Link to comment

Ke1t
For the foreigners - 85 quid for next season? Fit wiz it last season? I think it was about 65 of your British Pounds last year. Not sure. Might not have been. Hope that helps Link to comment

Hope that helps Just typical of The Dons that, ripping off the armchair fan. I'd be better off buying a wheelchair, eating five packets of popping candy in a one-er, then getting someone to push me into the special section at the Paddock. Link to comment
Sydney_Red
"Full match replays will be available to all users so you can catch up with the game at your leisure" Has anyone had any experience with this? I'm a total soft cock these days - canna stay up in the middle of the night to watch games. Instead I set Setanta to record on the foxtel box, off to the scratcher, get rudely woken by the kids, hit play button and it's just like watching live. I'd like to bin Setanta and go back to red tv, but am worried that you wont be able to access the full replay without stumbling upon the score first. Link to comment

Can't be arsed staying up until end of games (either 2am or 4am). Too old, don't have the right drugs to do so and not that keen. Link to comment
a don in oz
Dear oh dear, the antipodes has made you two soft. That said, it's 7:20pm on a Friday and I'm already thinking of bed so can't really dwell on that... Link to comment
