Starting line up BrownLogan - Taylor - Reynolds - Shinnie JackMcGinn - Pawlett - Maclean - Hayes Rooney Apparently The Rangers have arranged a pre season friendly against climinton collery U21 team and Sky have decided to show that instead as the start of the new regime Probably only real query is Pawlett that could also be Smith ,Goodwillie flood or robson all of which work depending on how we want to approach the game Link to comment
King Street Loon
Flood and/or Robson will start over there.Guaranteed. Link to comment
Dave Bus
Think 442 will be the formation used in this game and the rest of the season:.................wardLogan...Taylor..Reynolds...ShinnieMcGinn...Jack...McLean...Hayes...........Rooney..Goodwillie Link to comment

Dave Bus
Yup I think that's exactly the line up that DMc will be going with although possibly in a diamond as we experimented with that vs Brechin. The Diamond was very effective in the first half and allowed pawlett to run at people and beat them like he used to do, also suited McLean very well. Could well go with the diamond but it doesn't suit mcginn or Hayes as they perform better when a wider formation is being played Link to comment

Could well go with the diamond but it doesn't suit mcginn or Hayes as they perform better when a wider formation is being played I'd imagine he'd employ a wider diamond. Might leave the center of the park a bit open but Jack should be enough to deal with this lot. Hayes will also track back the length of the pitch for an entire game if he has to in order to win a ball back. It's a formation I think we should be looking to utilize against weaker opposition this season. With the pace and ability we've got in this team we should be looking to overload lesser opposition like Killie and Hamilton etc. Link to comment
RUL
Someone e-mailed Premier Sports who advised they are not showing Aberdeen in Europe but they intend to cover numerous Celtic friendlies... Link to comment
The Boofon
Who cares about the line up? As long as climbing frame face isn't playing and we don't lose is all that matters really. Link to comment

Bamber
at least theres twitter - I remember watching a rangers game live on teletext in the 1999/2000 season a cup tie and we scored in the 94th minute or something silly like that. remmebr it well as I was in the Falklands at the time! I knew about it about 10 mins later so didn't know if we had won in the last minute of normal time or were still playing extra time and we had scored early ! Link to comment
mavv1903
I think this is going to be a tough game, come away with a score draw and beat them at Pittodrie.. Link to comment
KingswellsRed
As long as Flood and Langfield aren't anywhere near the starting 11 I will be happy. I think Flood will start though despite performances clearly being better last season when he didn't play. Link to comment
minijc
I could periscope the match providing people paid for my bill or I got on wifi and got my phone charged, sma eats the battery Link to comment

MightyDons
KF Shkendija vs Aberdeen is now listed as being shown live by Supersport 2 in Albania. Might be a stream or two available to pick up on the night. Any word if Premier Sports are showing it? They do like to pick up local broadcasts. Link to comment
KingswellsRed
Can't belive people put Flood in their line ups. Very worrying. You only have to look at the way our results improved dramatically when he got injured then went back to before when he returned to see what the problem was last season. Midtable player with little ability who is holding us back. Link to comment
