Yes and amidst the emotion that's what VARs there to do.  No-one has a problem with a blatantly correct decision.  After the initial bounce / rage no-one has a problem with a decision that whilst it might look odd, or defy what you thought the rule was, if they can explain/defend a decision then so be it.

That's still a million miles away from the inconsistent corrupted verging on outright corrupt shite we're being fed up here.

Wasn't the rule at one point (before the days of VAR) that the attacking player was supposed to be given the benefit of the doubt because the authorities wanted more goals?  That was much better than seeing a great goal chalked off because technology says there's a ball hair in it.

It's ruining the game by removing the humanity/romance from it.

Both correct. Stark contrast between Scottish and domestic cup semi finals and VAR this weekend. It’s appalling how tinpot our game is here.
