Did anyone catch this on tuesday night on BBC 2? One of the most inspirational shows I have ever watched, what David Smith endured then put himself through just to keep going was insane, absolutely ridiculous, what a hero of a bloke, most people would have just called it a day and given up hope but not him, what a man.

Seen it, and aye, I agree. His mates are some boys aswell for cycling side by side with him up those French Mountains.

Yeah, took some balls from him to change the plan from the one route to doing the two other routes aswell, no doubt those lads helped him push on in the final section of the last route, he was running on empty half way through the second one, loved when he was at the cafe and he just fucked off and got going again knowing if he didn't move then he'd be done.
