Not really running thread - but going to Culloden or Burn O Vat this weekend for a walk, it's my new thing.

Any advice, which is better? I went to Cullloden years ago, but I'm not thinking this will be boring as fuck - and better scenery at Burn O Vat?

BOV much better.

Culloden interesting but as you say, scenery at BOV is the biz

No: Venice, Valencia, Pisa, Malaga

Maybe: Reggio Emilia, Florence

Yes: San Sebastián, Nice-Cannes

Nice one.

Haven't run for a wee while but seem to have entered a local 10K in June and then Glasgow Half in September, have done one Park Run this year as way of training, hmm, had best get out there.

Similar, entered a local 10k a couple of weeks back and came 23/700 after being at work and off the booze for 3 weeks. Meant to have a half marathon a week on Sunday but the training has resumed to getting pished at weekends so I’m doubting I’ll even bother showing up.

Done a 5k a couple of days ago. Disgraceful time from where I was but going to try and do one every 3 or 4 days for the next couple months and get the time down a couple minutes.

Id forgotten how brilliant running with no stress could be.

Best of luck in the races all.

Only done a couple as was previously in a place that was too hot to even consider running and I've been a little unwell.

Going to be doing a bit hiking this week, as well as travelling, so probably won't run at all until next week.

You faring any better?

more than I thought you would have done to be fair

managed a 5k in April and then on on Sat there, got a 10K in a few weeks, its not going to be good but I will get round, just not in a respectable time (for me)

Thanks for your confidence 😂

I'm nowhere near my peak but I'm probably carrying about 15kg more than I was when I was my quickest 😐
