StandFree1982
According to the Sun (no giggling at the back) we've signed Adam Collin on loan http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/aberdeen/6859662/Aberdeen-sign-play-offs-hero-Adam-Collin.html Link to comment
McPhee123
Filling in the gap until we get Rogers back it seems, as opposed to looking for a long term solution. Happy enough with that although I've no idea if he's any good. Interesting to see if it's him or Broon who starts on Saturday. Link to comment
Chewie37
I'll,believe it once it's announced....... Link to comment

RowZ
Houston said the other day that McInness told him he he would be offering Rogers a new deal. Awfa wringing of hands here, maybe he thinks another 5 months of guaranteed first team action is what he needs at this stage. Link to comment
McPhee123
I'd like to think there's a conversation behind the scenes between DM and Rogers, stick at it and he'll be guaranteed the #1 in summer. Gives DM more time to monitor his form, and gives Rogers guaranteed game time. Or maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part. I'm just keen on seeing real products from our development squad. Quagmire
Rogers has been a No. 1 for a season & a half now. If McInnes has more confidence in a sub-keeper from a no-mark English Championship side, whos played twice this season, then there's absolutely no way Rogers will be our No. 1 in 8 months time. Chewie37
Rogers might come good eventually, but giving him a full season at Falkirk was the plan so maybe DM values sticking to his word to the player and Falkirk. Brown is more than likely getting ditched end of the season so Rogers back then along with another keeper? Having read some of his interviews it doesn't come across as such a kick in the teeth to Rogers if he isn't recalled.......will wait and see how it pans out Link to comment
Sheeptastic
Danny Rogers will not be an Aberdeen player come next season, that much is guaranteed. If we were to offer him a deal, he would be mad to take it. If we truly wanted a player to stay then we would have offered him a contract much earlier, as we have with many other players. Tord31
I would think the Danny Rogers situation will replicate the Declan McManus one. We'll make a reasonable offer but he'll go elsewhere. Can see it a mile off. Link to comment

Of course he'll be offered a new deal so we get developmental fee, he won't accept it. As Tord said this'll be McManus all over again. He'd be guaranteed first team football here if he came back. McInnes clearly doesn't want to play Brown. So it makes no sense 6 months at Falkirk is better than 6 months here. Rogers is gonzo. Link to comment

the sheep
I cant see any risk in going for a keeper that we know well and is coming back with confidence. If we don't show faith in Rogers now then a decent offer from any other team he may go for free. Any other young guy from Engilndshire would present more of a gamble in my opinion. Rather keep funds/wages for a striker and or midfielder and consider the Keeper position close season. Link to comment
