Which Celebrity Will Die Next ?

Reed or deed

I worked in a unit that almost exclusively cared for MND and MS patients in the early part of my nursing career.

The final 3-6 months of someone with MND were a living hell. Horrific protracted death and the worst bit about it is their mental faculties remained intact.

The good thing 30 years ago....if you could call it a good thing....is that it was before Shipman. At least in those days the attending doctor could, in the very final few days/weeks, increase the diamorphine dosage in whacking great chunks if the patient was obviously suffering. This inevitably hastened their demise but really was the correct thing to do.

Post Shipman, they have to be a whole lot more concise with it, and increases in dosage have to be within certain limits. Can take days maybe even a few weeks before you reach a level where they are comfortable.

The sooner yoofinasia is legalised the better.
If it cant be, then we need to atleast reform how we deal with folk dying protracted, painful deaths.

100% too.

Yer dug gets really ill, and is suffering, and the vet mostly probably elects to put them out of their misery.

Some form of yoofinasia for humans most certainly should be drawn up.

Feckin' politicians should be concentrating in such things instead of munching kangaroo cock in the jungle!!
