James Forrest

Why wouldn't we want him? He's a good technical player and the SPL is definitely his level. If he's available on a free and wants to come to the dandies I'd be very happy with him signing, even despite his lack of neck.

Another mutant in the Shaun Maloney mould.

Seriously, take a close look at Maloney next time you see him play. He's got wee short arms, like a dwarf.

Still, a promising career in panto awaits, once he finally hangs up his freakishly tiny boots.

He's better than Pawlett.

Which admittedly isn't very hard.

Too expensive anyway.

Next.

I don't think he's better than Pawlett at all. Pawlett would look just as good (if not better) in a Celtic side where he gets more of the ball & protection of refs.

That little no neck fud is massively over rated. Ryan Fraser was miles better than he ever was but those green & white hoops (& the inflated wage that comes with them) automatically have folk thinking these players must be awesome. Even forgetting his injury history, i'd say he's probably their worst midfielder in their squad at the moment (of those that have gotten first team games)

Guest the shepherd

James Forrest is/was akin to Didier Agathe, another very ordinary player who's final ball was as poor as I have seen that the West of Scotland media salivated at the mouth about just because he wore the green n white hoops of celtic. Junior class at best.

As average a player as your likely to see.

Players like him being selected for Scotland is what puts me off watching. His agent will get him a move to a championship side down south and that's only cause he will be a free transfer (I think) before he gets found out, slips into obscurity before signing for Kilmarnock or Motherwell in 2 or 3 seasons time.
