EdinburghDon
I'm selling my kilt as it's too big thesedays, it's AFC tartan though (not classy/classy... I was young and no family tartan!). https://www.gumtree.com/p/other-mens-clothing/afc-aberdeen-fc-tartan-kilt-42-waist-x-25-leg-/1158419793 Link to comment
Chewie37
Bit too big for me otherwise I'd have been keen Link to comment
EdinburghDon
That wasn't the original idea but if it helps shift it... I've looked at getting it resized but McCalls said it'd be almost the same price as buying a new one, as they'd have to remove all the stitching, buckles etc and shop down the material and start from there again. It'd be better if someone actually had it rather than it sitting in a cupboard to never get used again! Link to comment
Nelly
42" waist?? That should fit a few folk on here! Might be a bit tight for Clydeside though. 1 Link to comment

Think they're over selling saying they need to do all that work. Link to comment

Aye, but moving the buckles only works for a couple of inches either way and then it doesn't work (the line of the kilt being offset, hanging wrong and all that). That's a big fuckin kilt!#mealer Yup, it's those measurements cos I was a #fuckinheffer back then. I was about 20 and a half stone at the worst, thesedays about 13 and a half. So it's more than just a couple inches needing reduced which is why moving buckles a bit is nae option... Link to comment
Jigot
42" waist x 25" leg! Are there a lot of Oompa Loompas in Edinburgh? Rotund is the polite way to describe Burgers, no Oompa Loompas. I mind watching a porn with Oompa Loompas in it or it could have been the one with the 7 Dwarfs? There was nae Tartan Marquee in it, I ken that. Link to comment
caledonia
If you cant sell it use it for curtains and make a bedspread with the material left over Link to comment
Jigot
Once the Kilt was opened you could use it for floor coverings, like a staircase, 15-16 stepper. Link to comment
