He then lies down on the pitch with an "injury". Worth a look?!?! It's that kind of fight that we want in our side at the moment... Link to comment
Tommy
Surprised they never mentioned his dummy spitting on Sportscene.Very strange incident. Link to comment
paddy
Shite player with a shite attitude. I'm glad the peg sellers took him back this season. Link to comment
360
He is the perfect player to play for a team that you dislike. A complete arsehole, but also horrendously shite at footy (fitba). Link to comment
The Hulk
Dunno like, Paatelainen has come into United and more or less immediately lost the dressing room with some bizarre post-match interviews. He's got a very young team that he slates in the media every other week which isn't good for confidence and when it;s left to your senior pros like Rankin and Gunning having to carry a team with such poor morale it's got to be a big drain. Gunning was decent before he went back down south and must be wondering what kind of hell he's come back to. The whole United fiasco is funny as fuck for us but Paatelainen has been an unmitigated disaster and I think Thompson knows it. If he doesn't get sacked, it'll only be because United can't afford to do it. Link to comment
BWG
They were what? 2 points off 2nd bottom when Mixu came in? He's managed to extend that to 8. Terrible decision to appoint him by a terrible football club ran by a terrible director. Link to comment
King Street Loon
The guys an arsehole. He spent more time goading the Aberdeen fans than he did concentrating on defending when we beat them down there recently. Link to comment
tup
United deserve to go down for the hugely questionable and corrupt nature of their ex manager's dealings with his old club, Celtic. Link to comment

Terrible decision to appoint him by a terrible football club ran by a terrible director. They were 4 points behind Partick for his first game v Hearts (which he lost)They were on 5 points from 10 games when Jackie got sacked. In his 23 games he has amassed 19 points & been ok in the cup. Not great but an improvement on Jackie & with an inherited pish Jackie team. Players like Souttar for example had stopped playing to manufacture a move. Would have been hard for any manager to come in & improve that shite from what Jackie had turned them into. Link to comment

They sold almost an entire team across three transfer windows, and didn't really replace them at all. It was only going to end one way. Link to comment
tup
No, Thompson got done over by McNamara. He stood against the hunnery in 2012. Good enough for me. Thompson is OK. Link to comment

Chewie37
Thompson fancying about with Australian teams really showed that he was fully focused on his own club. Had a chance to bring in a decent manager but takes Mixu instead. Not convinced. However his stance against the Huns was and still is brilliant Link to comment
