Pfa Scotland Manager Of The Year Award 2016

Recommended Posts

Ross County's Jim McIntyre is the only Premiership boss in the running for PFA Scotland's Manager of the Year award.

Peter Houston (Falkirk)

Jim McInally (Peterhead)

Jim McIntyre (Ross County)

Mark Warburton (Rangers)

My guess Warburton will be chosen

Would not give it to a lower division manager who had more resources than the other 9 clubs he was competing against put together.

But he will get it. And we'll be expected to congratulate the cunt.

Truth is, he could hardly fail.

Welcome to Scottish football. Fixed, triumphalist shite. And nobody notices.

Indeed a lot of our own fans think Warburton deserves it.

Warburton the only stand out one really.

If they win the Scottish cup then aye maybe but otherwise he shouldn't be near it.

Did Neilson get close for romping the Championship last season?...................... Nit.

Warburton has had 10 times the budget of most in the league & 4 or 5 that of Hibs plus he has had a good few EPL players on loan.

McIntyre for me but close between him & Stubbs if Hibs win the cup, (especially if the get up via the play offs) even though Hibs have "Hibsed" it a good few times in the league & of course the league cup final. Getting to both finals is still good going.

I get why those four are on the shortlist, but there's still a slight possibility that Aberdeen could become the first club from outwith the Old Firm to win the league in thirty years and Hibs could win the Scottish Cup for the first time in well over a century (while playing in the second tier). McInnes and Stubbs would go down in Scottish football history, yet neither were considered amongst the top four managers this season.

A corrupt carve up.

When they invite Stilian Petrov to dish out the award, it's pretty obvious Johnny Hayes is not going to get it.

These bastards that run the league are basically agents and lapdogs for two clubs only.

I usually agree, but the team of the year is pretty non-Glasgow

no problem at all with griffiths getting player of the year - to be fair he should be team of the year as he has been practically a one man team at times. Very (un)surprising that he is not being linked with a move away as you would think he is the most saleable asset

Don't agree with Warburton being best manager - it would be like me winning a chess tournament in the Under 5 category

For a start this award shouldn't be issued till after the cup and playoffs. Bit that I think they will but hibs have the chance to do something historical. If Stubbs wins them promotion and wins the cup with hibs for the first time in 100 years he would fully deserve the managers award instead of this cunt Warburton. Warburton won this the minute the huns beat the tims in the cup. The old firm match is all that matters in Scottish football, it's a fucking sad state of affairs.

I'm not looking forward to next season, it won't be just back to the norm, it'll be ten times worse than it ever was.
