RUL
Sun reporting he's going to Dundee utd. Been a good player for us overall. Think he'd be a pretty decent signing for utd at that level. Link to comment
BWG
If we get a fee then that's marvellous business by us. Link to comment
Tord31
If we get a fee bring it on. If we let him go without paying him off i'd be fairly neutral but tbh would prefer us to keep him this season and let him see out his contract. I would certainly be against paying up his contract, or a portion of it, to release him Link to comment

If it goes towards a Greg Stewart type of signing then its a couple of hundred quid a week worth paying. Link to comment

Byrne Baby Byrne
Great first season. Shite second season. Alright third season when he wasn't injured. Wouldn't be bothered if he left. Overall he's had a good 3 years. All the best and adios. Link to comment
sooth_stander
There's going to be games where he'll be needed; sunday league matches after thursday Euro games, for example, hopefully All depends if his contract is heavily appearance based, which it sounds like it is, hence his unrest. But would reckon he could do better than Utd; surely Killie, Hamilton, M'well etc etc would be better options for him Would free up wages for Slater, I suppose Link to comment

Plus, United will be able to pay more than those three teams. Motherwell just offered contracts to some of their senior players that were a 1/3 of their previous contract after all... Link to comment

360
Letting Willo go would be a mistake. Mark my words. My phone spazzed and I accidentally downvoted you. Apologies. I also -1'd it to compound your mistake. 1 4 Link to comment

King Street Loon
If Willo does go he will go with my best wishes (which I'm sure will please him no end).He improved a midfield that was on it's knees, but sadly the personal differences between him and Jack affected performances of both players and there is no chance of McInnes selling Jack unless a ridiculous offer comes in.All the best Willo. hopeisimportant
So, if he goes who do we have for CM? McLean, Jack, Storie? Is that it?! Shinnie can cover and the new boy O'Conner although I believe he is primarily a defender. I can only hope another good CM is coming in! Link to comment
King Street Loon
I heard that Hearts are in for him.The Canadian Branch of Aberdeen fans will go into meltdown if that's the case. Will only enhance Hearts in their quest to catch us.It'll increase season ticket sales too. Link to comment
CalgaryDon
I'll be disappointed tp see Flood leave. think he is a good player and like 360 can see this being a mistake . Really depends who we bring in as his replacement. Link to comment

boboisared
Flood is great to have in the games where we need win the ball back as quick as we can. We only really need that in 4 games (6 if we meet the Tims in the cup) so I'm happy for him to go if he wants to move. He lacks patience too, so sometimes you will see him run past our striker to chase down the opposing teams defenders/goalkeeper. Although some people think it's great and he's working hard, it leaves a massive gap in the middle of the park as he doesn't pull his team mate back before he does it. We're looking to get to the group stages in Europe and if we have someone in the middle of the park doing that then we'd be in trouble. I appreciate everything he's done here but a change is probably best for all concerned. 1 Link to comment
BWG
Utd splashing cash on lower league players again so a small fee for Flood isn't all that ridiculous. I personally think we've outgrown Flood and it's time for him to go. I can't really think of a game from the last couple of seasons where I've been glad to have had him in the squad. He'd probably do well in the Championship where his tireless running about wouldn't be punished as much as it is in the top flight. It's his kind of football. Link to comment

I agree with this, Flood and AFC have outgrown each other to put it politely. I really appreciated all his hard work, and there was a lot of it, but its good to have some change and I think Flood and Jack proved not to be the right mix on the pitch. I'm hopeful another CM is top of Deek's list now. Link to comment
