Tord31
Doubtful: Flood, Morris We are where we are and unfortunately we still havent sorted central defence or central midfield. I think Alexander may have to come in soon just to add his experience to the team but not quite yet Lewis Logan Taylor Reynolds Considine Jack ShinnieMcGinn McLean Hayes Rooney subs: Alexander, Morris, Flood, Pawlett, Stockley, O'Connor, Storeyprediction: 2-0 COYR!! stirlingshen
oddly a 0-0 might be a better result here than a narrow win given how we set up to sit on a lead tonight and the ensuing performance Link to comment
dave_min
Really hope they had scouts watching us tonight. 1 Link to comment
sooth_stander
Joe Lewis out already? He was one of, well only, half decent performer tonight. I'd play Alexander too, but in central defence Link to comment
tup
People who fail to understand football fail to understand that a poor keeper affects the whole defence. Lewis is the problem. Drop him. 1 Link to comment

sooth_stander
Fucked if I'm buying tickets for next week till I've heard what McInnes says about tonights shambles Link to comment
Bamber
Comments are quite fair Fola deserved to win, mental and physical preparation was all wrong, lucky to get through on 1 strong performance - two normally required below par performance. Was doubts that leaving Mcginn out was right decision but needs to look after him looked a million miles from the group stages didnt enjoy the game wont kid anyone - was below par, sometimes in cups you play bad early on and have success later Link to comment

SkyeDon
Doing a wee bit of research on Ventspils and had totally forgotten Daugava no longer exist. As far as I am aware they were in the same league? Surely nowhere near as bad as they were though... No wonder they were put out of their misery. Link to comment

Panda
be interesting to see if we increase crowds or notOn one hand people may be disheartened after tonight and expect another shite performance. On the other hand, they may appreciate that our path into the next round isn't as easy as it looks on paper and we need a good support on Thursday. Taylor should be nowhere near the line-up on Thursday. Absolute garbage. I'd give O'Connor a crack in defence. Hard to judge him after just 45 minutes. Lewis Logan O'Connor Considine Shinnie McGinn Jack McLean Hayes Rooney Shankland Link to comment

I'd go with 5 across the middle personally, after such a non-appearance yesterday. Maybe McLean playing off Rooney Link to comment

Panda
What have you seen from Shankland to suggest he deserves to start such an important match? He had a strong end to the season at St Mirren and by all accounts was decent in the, albeit extremely short, pre-season. What have Stockley or Storey done to justify a start instead? Even Rooney isn't 100% fit. He's played on bigger stages before than this. Link to comment
