Aberdeen City Centre Free Parking?

If you work in Aberdeen city centre and your work place doesn't have a car park, do you know of anywhere specifically that's good for free car parking?

Free parking in the city centre? Short of parking in residents spots or some other allocated parking, where you'll run the risk of getting locked in or similar, there's no where. You're looking at 15minute walk out from Union Street to the closest uncontrolled areas.

Don't think there's anywhere free in the city centre, closest you'll get is probably the Beach or Torry. Almost everywhere within Anderson Drive is pay & display.

Park in Torry and walk over the bridge to your work, I'll charge you £2 a day for car protection.

Far aboots you working? Think you're goosed for free but there's a few streets that you can park for free iirc. The cooncil might have put a stop to it mind you. Grippit whoores!

Fraser Place just off George Street, bit of a walk but you won't get locked in.

Cheers for the replies. Looks like I can take advantage of the schools being out for now as its been suggested from some others I've asked that I can use the Grammar School car park and also Ferryhill Primary School car park, which is even better as its the closest to my work

Grammar is fine. There's also a road up beside the Belmont social club that isn't double yellowed. Jute Street too.
