Awpr: Any Road Closures Near Airport?

I'm flying in on Monday and going to be picking up a car to go onto Peterhead. Is the road from the airport that twists and turns via Belhelvie and ends out coming out onto the A90 across the road from Balmedie still open or badly impacted by the AWPR works?

 

Would it be better to head into Aberdeen then take the A90 all the way out?

 

Bearing in mind I'm going to have been en route for about 30 hours with no sleep (can never sleep on planes) so I need an autopilot type route and those are the only two I know off by heart... which would be better?

Though I just tried to order tickets online for Maribor and Hearts game but... my delivery address (Peterhead) is different to my card address (Oz) so it won't let me. Forgot that pain in the arse limitation/security feature. Might have to go via Aberdeen anyway.

Balmedie is a fucking mare just now. Coming home at 6pm the traffic heading to the single lane going up to Ellon is backed up to Millden.

The back road from the airport to Balmedie is 30mph almost all the way to the exit onto the A90, depending on what time you arrive it'll either be busy with work traffic or AWRP lorries.

There's the new temp lights bert mentioned and the A90 is 50 with average speed cameras from BoD to Balmedie

There's also some roadworks all the way up to the Pittmedden turn off.

Once you get past Ellon its clear to Peterhead.
