Clydeside_Sheep
No, this thead doesn't concern our dear Millertime, but maybe he can give us more info on this: There are claims in the media that a house in Rutherglen, Glasgow, is being affected by a Poltergeist. The terrified residents called the Police and the Officers who attended claim to have witnessed: - lights going on and off- clothes flying across the room- a levitating dug The officers witnessed clothes flying across a room, lights going off and when they went back on the lampshades were upside down and oven doors opening and closing.Even a chihuahua dog which was playing in the garden was then discovered sitting on top of a seven-foot hedge. The Police went along thinking it was going to be a mental health issue or something, but the Officers themselves witnessed these phenomena and so it is being taken seriously. Apparently the Police in their turn called a Priest, who came and blessed the house. See the links below - none are what I would call "quality press" which is probably indicative. I think some c*nt is "at it" and this will turn out to be a hoax, but it was eyebrow raising and its not everyday we hear of a spook in Rutherglen http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/poltergeist-scotland-police_uk_57af70e0e4b01f97d8f2cbb8 http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/poltergeist-baffles-hardened-police-scotland-8620581 http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/14682710.Woman_at_the_centre_of_Rutherglen_poltergeist_probe_says_media_attention_has_left_her_family_stressed/ Link to comment

Clydeside_Sheep
Why would they call a priest? What good would that do? I am loathe to speak on behalf of the constabulary. Who would you suggest they call? Is there a local branch of Ghostbusters? Link to comment
Clydeside_Sheep
It will scare off the kids. Dummy - its the ghost they want rid of, not the kids! Link to comment
