Good to see that considering I think the real effect of the downturn in the area will not be seen till this year and thankfully will be more than offset by the cup run - so they'll be confident of a fourth good year in a row

Shows the importance of qualifying for Europe and hopefully getting further next season as we know it would be that we are seeded for at least QR1 and QR2

qualifying for europe every year would have us on a very sound footing. Hopefully only a matter of time before we get a crack at European group stage football

Hope so. Ridiculous that finishing 2nd still means going through diddy qualifying in July, against teams whose seasons may be underway.

As long as we avoid that stupid new early league cup set up by playing in Europe then it's all good.

Anyone that turns their nose up at Europa because it's basically a closed shop to the likes of us should remember what the alternatives are if we fail to get there.

Less fixture congestion?

Reading through it a few comments:

- we need to harness the whole AFC family to fund the stadium project

Would this sound like a share issue, debentures? Whatever it is the comment would sound like we'll be asked to contribute

- we partly 'wrote down' the value of the Loirston project which had been held as a asset. £2M was written off and £900k kept.

This is all accounting speak and this was money already spent. The guts of £3M was spent progressing the Loirston plans and only a portion of that has been deemed relevant to the new site

- Aim to keep costs (wages) at a level we can afford....but common sense will need to prevail...look for opportunities to supplement our income with transfer fees

Interesting. I can't really remember them

writing anything like that in recent years

- Payments to acquire players £81k

Miles Storey?

- Broadcasting monies had a decent boost versus the previous season circa £400k up.

Was the reason for the record turnover with other areas like sponsorship and gate receipts broadly the same year on year

- Our highest earning executive director earns £300k per year

On the steep side?

- Pittodrie is valued at £18 million (2015) and due to not selling it right now they are happy with the value to remain

- The entire value gained from the sale must be invested in a new stadium or liabilities will arise from the debt deal struck with BoS in 2015
