Blue appears the predominant colour, but it isn't really blue. Its a mixture of various colours, but the overall effect is to appear blue.

 

Its the same as how "grey hair" is really white, but looks grey against the darker hair which still has colour.

I filled a deodorant can lid with it and presented it to my lady friend at the time.
