King Street Loon
Anyone else affected by this pop up?Everyday when I'm on my laptop this page automatically opens up a new tab.Any ideas on how to stop this?Have googled it, but it suggests downloading some software which I'm wary about. This my or may not have come about from visiting too many porn sites. I'm really not sure tbh (to be honest).Any advice in ridding myself of this would be greatly appreciated. Gracias. Link to comment

Admin Bebo Posted February 22, 2017 Admin Share Posted February 22, 2017 Had the same issue before KSL. It's a game of whack-a-mole as there are various versions of it. Doesn't seem to be much effective solutions or guides online either although i've managed to make it stop. Have you thought about editing your host file? Search for the Run app, and copy and paste then enter: notepad c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts Then paste bellow the # in the opened file. 0.0.0.0 britmethod.com (or whatever the URL is)Beyond that i'd suggest not visiting dodgy websites. Dandyesque
Get Spyhunter software and clean it up. If you intend to keep using Internet pornography then pay for a subscription- it's probably cheaper than paying for a membership of a porn site Link to comment
The Boofon
Stick to Pornhub and don't watch a video less than a day after it's been uploaded would be my advice. Link to comment

King Street Loon
Check your extensions & addons via internet settings - there should be the option to remove it. Then download ccleaner (via piriform) and run the analyzer; this will show any shit left behind...cookies and so on. Click run cleaner and all should be good. What version of CCleeaner did you download? The free version? Link to comment
