I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks the Tories will ever win an election in Scotland again (they haven't since the 1950's) is living in a special kind of dreamland. For all the misgivings of the Sturgeon and Murrell era (and I have nothing good to say about them) there is simply no way the Tories will ever command the popular vote in Scotland ever again. 

I would however bet that, in an independent Scotland (if it were to happen, but I'm talking hypothetically here) a strong resurgence of the centre-right would be on the cards. We could possibly have a centre-right party in coalition by the third term of a new state. It just won't be them.
