Of course it will be. Mentally more than anything.

League campaign is over. If McInnes thinks otherwise he's a fucking idiot. The remaining fixtures should be used to allow Rooney to score an overhead kick - McInnes should clarify that at his next *presser*.

McInnes yet again complaining about the Pittodrie pitch saying it is the worst in the country. Why is it so bad? Been a relatively mild winter? I guess it didn't get much rest last summer as first European match was played on June 30th.

Getting the pitch sorted should be our top priority for next season even above getting a new centre back (or two).

The incident with Stockley and their guy right at the end when they both got booked was horrific. The guy feigning a headbutt comtact and going down trying to get Stockley sent off basically and then kicking out at him from the ground and then Stockley got booked?! Utter shitebag behaviour from their guy given they were 2 goals up with about a minute to play

This especially when it's obvious that stockly is trying to avoid any sort of confrontation. By thrning his head aeay and just walk away. Yet he still gets booked.

Explain how it works then, please as I must be an "eejit".

'Big team' loans 'small team' a 'young player' who is on wages that small team could not afford to pay.

'Big team', keen to ensure 'young player' gets lots of first team experience, agrees that 'small team' only has to play a fraction of the wages of 'young player' as long as he plays.

If 'young player' does not play, 'small team' has to pay 100% of 'young player's' wages.

lol

why do people do this?

just doubt everything

its very, very obvious this is what happens

if a player doesn't play, the club pays more of the wages - otherwise, why would the parent club have him out at the loaning club?

A club like ICT/hamilton have a very small budget. To suggest it is "very, very obvious" that they would agree to a deal that meant they paid a loanee 18X their average weekly wage if he didn't get a game is nonsensical.

Are we paying celtic more every time Christie doesn't get off the bench?

So is that just for "young players" then?

That's a relief, I would be concerned if we were paying the likes of Alan Tates wages while he sat on the bench. He must have been on a decent wage at Swansea.

Just watched Sportscene, poor from us for their first. Jack should've either left it for Lewis or just hoofed it up the park, also shouldn't have come charging out, had he stayed probably would've been blocked.

Not singling out jack. Though McGinn was terrible yesterday, no final product for most of the game from either him or Hayes. Not sure why Hayes was playing left back when he's our best attacking option going forward and getting a ball in the box. Christie shouldn't have been hooked; McLean/McGinn should've gone.

Either way, poor result but we can rectify it with a win against Hearts in a weeks time. Would like to say its just a blip, but tough fixtures with the Tims coming here and having to go to the snake-pit. Hoping for 7 points out of the last 4 games and a good showing in the final vs Celtic. Hoping DM has firmly given a few players a much needed boot up the arse

Part of the reason we struggle at this stage of the season is because we are flat track bullies. When we have to play against the better teams week in week out who won't just rollover like say Dundee etc do, we are too often found wanting.

I don't know if that's down to a weakness in the squads mentality or if it's McInnes at fault for the tactics he sends them out to play. It is disappointing that after 4 years in charge now we are still facing the same issues and that our attacking threat is still utterly reliant on both McGinn and Hayes being on form. McInnes does have his flaws as a coach despite all the good he has done here.

Can't agree with that to an extent. Yes there have been certain games I.e Celtic and for some reason Sevco this season where we have struggled but generally it's always been the so called "lesser" teams where we have dropped silly points. I do believe there is a fear factor playing the Tims, why I don't know as despite how strong they are, if you don't at least try then we might as well give up football.

Did the boy that went windmilling down the merkland at Swanson get arrested?

Is he a foundry bad redz member?

Lol there were two of them careering doon the stairs.

One of them physically held back by a steward the other giving it large to Swanson as he goaded the singing section.

Didn't see if either of them got lifted but was pretty funny watching the boy going mental at Swanson.

Red mist had descended big time.

.

Definitely something in this. Better teams who stay resolute and organised usually frustrate us, then pick our pockets in the later stages. In our periods of ascendancy we lack that edge and guile to get in front. McGinn had plenty of the ball but looked clueless. Mclean missed two chances and just doesnt score often enough. Nor do Jack and Shinnie. Rooney isn't sharp, mobile or clever enough to pose a threat against a tight defence.

Was apparently the case with Danny Ward.
