dj_bollocks
Seems that some geeky fanboys have shat the bed with the news that the BBC have cast a woman to play the Doctor... https://twitter.com/DMReporter/status/886622778270633984/photo/1 https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DE3wuxJXcAINFaV.jpg:large Link to comment
BrianFaePerth
Didn't go far enough in my opinion. It is time to reflect society and have a mixed race gender fluid non binary doctor. Link to comment
manboobs109
My brother put a bet on fucking years ago that Paterson Joseph would play Doctor Who and Idris Elba James Bond. Two singles though he wasn't allowed to do the double. Link to comment

BrianFaePerth
My doctor's a woman. In no way did eh surf social media when looking for a doctor. It was pure chance mine is a total stunna. No sure how good she is though, she never demands to see my cock. Surely medical negligence? Link to comment

Ke1t
So long as she gets her tits out at least once an episode, maybe with some tasteful downshirt and upskirt shots as she battles the Daleks or whatever, then I don't see what the problem is. 1 Link to comment
RAZOR
Given its Britain it would have been more realistic to be a Paki Dr. 1 Link to comment
Clydeside_Sheep
They have threatened this for years but doing it now smacks of a struggle to keep story lines fresh. (of course I dont watch it) They should take care not to undermine one of their long running series; after all if you change a character sufficiently, or often enough, then you don't actually have a character as such anymore. StandFree1982
It's to appease the feminists more than anything else. If / when they make a female James (jane?) Bond that they'll have gone too far. I think it's about time we started making movies where we change female protagonist to a male...like: The Iron Lady - Starring Colin Firth as Margaret ThatcherTomb Raider - Starring Will Smith as Lara Croft (this also covers race)Wonder Woman - Starring Brad Pitt as Wonder WomanOrange Is The New Black - Set in a mens prison. Maybe even branch out into adverts. Men running around, swimming etc advertising tampons. Link to comment
RAZOR
Moneypenny will be more concerned with a black James Bond than a female one. Link to comment

BWG
It's a scientific fact that women are only good at making sandwiches and shagging. I don't see how I can take a children's television programme about aliens seriously, if a woman is going to be playing the lead role. Link to comment
