I still have doubts about the location but if all other options have been ruled out for sound reasons then we need to hope the City Council can see the long term benefits for the region. That said..I am not overly optimistic that the correct decision will be made.

Good to note the date of the next Kingswells Community Council meet.

 

I dropped an email to all the members at the start of the week airing my concerns over the lack of consultation process before they came to the decision to back the "no campaign".

 

Only 1 reply so far, and that was from a member who has since resigned from the council due to disagreements over this very subject.

Nice one. I'm in the process of slowly buying up nokingsfordstadium domains so I've redirected .uk to your mythbusters page and I'll buy up a couple more this week. Nae sure how long their lease on .org.uk is but I've tried to reserve it with 123-reg. Fuck these NIMBYs.

This whole thing has been dragging on for far too long. Aberdeen has never been a football town but this is taking the biscuit. I just hope the desicion makers can see the bigger picture and get with the program. I'm a 100% sure that any other council in the uk would be behind this from the get go.
