Redstar
Depends what sort of deal he has but if its less than 3 years and if the lads on crap money then its definitely not too late to extend it and give him a bit of a pay rise ASAP.Fuck knows why we extended Reynolds contract.Agreed....I was amazed when the GWT handed him a five year deal...the extension only goes to show that he must be in possession of the same info/pics that kept the Paisley Spastic at Pittodrie for far too long... 1 Link to comment
Sonoftherock
The more and more I see of this guy, The more I think we've got a player on our books ... He can't go backwards only forwards, If he shines against the Tims the Vultures will start ....... Time for a new contract or too early ? Or will Aberdeen do the usual and let him go for a packet of sweets and can of Coke. I do think he benefits from playing next to someone of Arnasons caliber and experience. Having said that, if he doesn't look out of his depth against Celtic, we should be looking towards sorting out his contract. Link to comment

Hey min...given your record of being completely wrong most of the time...lay off with bumming up Arnason every chance you get...you're talking up a complete loss of form/bad injury for the Iceman. dj_bollocks
Time to give more kids a chance... Ross and Harvie would also benefit from more game time over the Christmas period... If they're as good as McKenna is it'd be good to have even more players fighting for places... Link to comment

Fielded youngsters and dropped points DM would be beasted by all for doing so... Link to comment

I'm not saying they should start, just given 20 minutes instead of wasting time at the end of the game... And they're not even getting that... We know DMc isn't keen to make changes to a winning formula, certainly not after the earlier part of the season... Link to comment
tup
The youngsters have to be pretty good to get into this team, McKenna has upped his game considerably from his previous spell in the team, full credit to him for that, he should be fast tracked straight into the full Scotland squad now to show that progression from the under 21 squad is on for anyone who plays like he's playing right now. 1 Link to comment

McInnes just didn't want to drop Taylor for some reason.Thank fk Taylor is gone because the cunt would still be keeping better players on the bench if he was here. Link to comment
Reliablesource
The youngsters have to be pretty good to get into this teamAye, how it should. I remember a couple of idiots on here loling their arses off when I said Mckenna was going to be much better than that Lindsay boy from thistle. Probably the same numpties that wanted Wright out on loan. Link to comment

And they're not even getting that... We know DMc isn't keen to make changes to a winning formula, certainly not after the earlier part of the season... Since McKenna came into the team, we've had two 1-0 wins which is too tight for youngsters to be 'given minutes' and the other being St. Johnstone 3-0 where he took on Frank Ross who nearly scored. Depends on what's available as if everyone is fit then there's not gonna be any youngsters other than Wright and McKenna in the mix for a place in the 11 or 18. Agree when they're on the bench and we're comfortable in a game then we should be blooding those who are considered good enough to be given the chance (which presumably right now is Ross and Harvie maybe). Mckenna got thrown in for a start after not playing a minute all season and it's paid off so far. That's not to say it'll always be the case but if they're good enough and others aren't performing/injured etc then play them Link to comment
Hannity
The kid looks impressive, although the highly sexual Kari Arnason could very well be playing a significant part in that. Either way, keep it going Mr McKenna. Link to comment

Celtics attack have managed to make cunts of some fairly decent defenses now & again. Regardless of what happens in Celtic match. It should have no knock on effect to changing the defence for next games. McKenna has already proven very capable under some fairly decent pressure & shouldn't be punished IF he comes unstuck in his first top of table clash. He won't though, he's a fkn rock. TheRock
Should celebrate his new deal by keeping his 4th shut out in a row and heading in the winner in the last minute on Wednesday. Or by conceding 5 goals. Either or. Link to comment
