Guest
Far to early for this. Your concerns are LEGIT. Time will tell.Look. Miller time spoke the most sense I've ever seen him speak, since I've been posting on here. I'm choosing to take today as a win and enjoy it whilst it lasts. He should be doing better in his role as manager and we should be doing better in big games. The statement from Jabba the Hun and his pals suggests to me that McInnes has fucked his chances of ever working there- as long as they are the board. That's something he will have known in turning down the job. That good enough for me at the moment. I'm happy to admit I'm a young man who jumped the gun with it all. Next time a situation like this unfolds I will sit back and see what happens. Link to comment

Just paying due respect to the guys who remained calm and stuck to their guns. Whilst I was admittedly flapping about like a bedwetting cunt. Thats all. Link to comment
King Street Loon
I'll eat humble pie in the fact that i def thought he was away. Everything i heard pointed in that direction. But, I'd like the full story. Derek is pretty vague so far in his reasoning for staying. I'm hoping for him to expand on it once the busy festive period is over. We've too many games coming up to rake over the coals whilst it's all still a bit raw.One thing he need to do now though is get this team out of the form slump and get some consistency out of certain players. Despite being joint 2nd it's not been good enough this season so far and the squad is capable of so much more. Link to comment

Old manny
Humble pie for me I fear and hats off to Big hat Logan, Millertime and a few others who called it right. Still cunts like, but credit where it's due. The reasons behind Derek's decision to stay are probably complex, but I feel the meeting between him and Milne was key. Our manager is an intelligent guy and must have wrung a few concessions from Milne on his transfer budget in the winter window. With a bit of luck we should look forward to some of the deadwood moving on, including Saint Anthony, and a couple of decent signings coming in. Could work out well for us. Link to comment

It’s only slightly sweetened by the fact the Huns have concomitantly been embarrassed. Performances on the pitch will need to improve dramatically if we are to move on from this as if nothing ever happened. 1 Link to comment

Don Fonte
I never mentioned it on here but I'd heard he was 100% away since earlier this week. Source was a current 1st team player. The whole team were convinced/knew he was going. Glad I never shared my ITK knowledge on here as I'd be munching this humble pie like a dead hooker's minge. Link to comment
Chewie37
DM has played it very cleverly here, gets to fuck them over after they've tried to unsettle our team and club. Milne & DM forced their hand with the compensation and then DM has gone and seen what "finances" are on offer. Pretty sure he knew he wasn't going especially If Docherty was never going to go and DM wouldn't move without him....Players now get a boost that the manager they want is staying, DM has to push himself to win back some of the fans and Milne loosens the purse strings more That's how I see it, stupid Hun Cunts Link to comment

The Oxford Don
I always suspected he’d end up staying, purely because The Rangers financial situation is clearly dire. Time will tell just how committed he remains to the job, but for now I’m absolutely delighted. Big win needed tonight to consolidate the events of the last 24 hours, Deek to then come out with a Braveheart-esque press conference which reduces Sevco fans to tears and sends Dons fans into the weekend thumping our chests and roaring ‘fuuuuucking coooooooome onnnnnnn’ Link to comment
CraigHill
He has a lot to make up for on the park this season. We have been set up without balance, tactically awful more often than not and the players have had limited direction from the touch line (in some games the confusion on the pitch is visible). I care less about the off the pitch circus that he’s allowed to happen.Get it right on the pitch and we’ll soon forgive that. Link to comment
