What next, small umbrella hats so their mascara doesn't run? Earplugs incase a coach shouts 'useless cunt'? Absolutely embarrassing how pampered the modern footballer is, even at our level. 1 Link to comment

The whole site is still work in progress by the looks of it, still huge tracks of land within the site boundaries that remain untouched. Maybe they thought the Westhill Lizzies would have really shat their y fronts if a tin shed appeared on the planning application but if you look at the eastern edge of the site, that looks to be where an indoor facility could be built, and as already mentioned, maybe part of phase 3, after/if the stadium gets built? i notice another drive though is being built adjacent to McDonalds over the road in Arnhall, is that a Starbucks? Andy_123
I’d doubt it. AFC already bought all the land for the new stadium, and I think I’m right in saying already completed some of the drainage works at the same time the training facilities were done. Complete waste of money if they decide not to move now. If the council/government want to pay the additional costs associated with staying where we are and redeveloping pittodrie to the same standard as a brand new stadium elsewhere, then I’m sure everyone would be all for that. Aberdeen council should be looking to do everything they can to keep the stadium in the city. They own most of the land beside Pittodrie and should be bending over backwards to come to a compromise. This is vital to many businesses such as pubs, golf clubs.chippers, bakers etc . If the stadium goes to Kingswells most people will just be heading there and then home.Same with away supporters. Link to comment

Joe pike
I think the last hare brained scheme to come out of the. Council for the city centre was a mono rail running through the castle gate, down to the beach then across to seagull island. Link to comment
Poodler
Remember when the council went against the wishes of the people and declined the UTG revamp. Now they're spending about 100M on a lift down to the gardens for disableds. Loved boozing in that park. What a shame ACC got their teeth into it. They better leave Vic park alone Link to comment

Ernie McCracken
What a fucking shambles. Council are a fucking joke. They've had 20 years to help AFC get a site, but what do they do? Wait until AFC have secured a site and planning permission and then pipe up and say "what about building here instead" I would suspect AFC will tell them to poke it due to the stage were at coupled with the annual costs of running 2 sites.
