Highly recommended Once Upon a Time in Iraq on the iplayer. Grim in parts but as close to the truth about the whole thing as it's possible to get. Fucking scandalous what us and the yanks did there.

Think I'll watch this after the football. Cheers Moobster.

Watched the first episode the other night ( and fell asleep before the end ).

This is not a binge watch.

Grim as fuck.

The big Rambo American dude was class.  Damn straight if I was Iraqi National Guard I'd be shiting myself too.  Hoo Mama.   Brother looked harder than Woody Woodpeckers nose.

He struck me as being a deeply troubled guy.

PTSD or some such shit.

Sitting bubbling on ones sofa on a Saturday afternoon is nae good likes.

Fucks sake.

There's a special place in hell for Tony Blair, George Bush..........

and Rio Ferdinand.

Aye it's grim in parts. The last one is about IS etc and is really fucking horrible. The shit we did/caused over there is absolutely incredible and yet still we interfere and get it all wrong.

It's like Afghanistan, folk have been trying to kill them and take over the country for centuries. Eventually even the mightiest super powers ( Including Alexander the Great and Genghis Khan) give up and they start over again.

Marvel should knock up an Afghaniman. Super power - ultra resilience to Western ideology. If they weren't shooting kids in the head for wanting an education,  you might admire them.
