Scotty_Toronto
Yes. We're all annoyed at the one post-split goal in four games that we conceded, Mate. Link to comment
Dal Riata Don
Can we hope Celtic lie down to us just so's we can finish above their rivals? Otherwise 3rd. Link to comment
Site Sponsor Dom Sullivan Posted May 9, 2018 Site Sponsor Share Posted May 9, 2018 Quite possible. Yep, or we'll need a result at Celtic Park. We're the only team with it in our own hands. The other 2 teams will have to take maximum points and rely on results elsewhere. Dons to finish second.Correct ST, still in our own hands. We need to go to Porkheid at least thinking we can get a result and have a fucking go. Stand off them and we'll get humped. In their faces and get into them. Not saying we'll get three points but we should at least go down fighting instead of turning up hoping that some other cunts will do us a favour. In our own hands. Link to comment
Foster14
Interesting to see Celtic's approach. After criticising Hearts physical approach and knowing we have something to play for, are they going to risk their best players the week before the cup final? I've gone for 2nd. Link to comment
The Boofon
Hearts beat hibs tonight, hibs beat huns Sunday and we are second ?Yip. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
I still say fourth. Like I predicted months ago. Amazed he's kept us in the fight for second for so long but thankfully Pedro helped with that. Link to comment
Ke1t
I'd like to think Celtic will already be off on their holidays, but the final game of the season, and with a stadium full of stinking vermin screaming shit about the Pope and abortion... as they do... coupled with McInnes shitting the fucking bed because, you know, it's Celtic, I fancy the green Huns to rip us to fucking pieces. 4th with an undeserved European spot would be my guess. ABZ RED
Why, after the first time in about 15 games against the 'OF', when it was clearly shown in the first half that the team could battle, are people resigned to defeat at Parkhead and think it's the end of the world we will finish 4th? It'll be all or nothing like a cup final at Parkhead, and Hibs will beat Rangers. Link to comment

It'll be all or nothing like a cup final at Parkhead, and Hibs will beat Rangers. Because of the evidence of our own eyes. We blew Sevco away for much of that first half, and when we came out for the second half we showed that we didn't have the bottle to keep it up. That second half we were the team we've been against them in every other game this season. That was at home. Against a genuinely shite Sevco.. Link to comment

The game got massively stretched for some reason. I think it was more to do with fitness. I could see Cosgrove and a few others were finished early in the 2nd half. Shinnie and McLean couldn't keep chasing things. It would go behind McKenna who'd chase back and pass it to Lewis who'd punt it straight up the fucking pitch for them to have another go. Nobody would put their foot on the ball and slow it right down when we needed it. Link to comment

We pressed them high up the field in the first half, which takes more energy, granted, but we resorted to sitting off in the second half and smashing the ball forward in the hopes our isolated forward would get on the end of it, which has been our MO in every game against both green and blue Huns this season, and it never works. I didn't think we looked knackered in the second half, I took it as McInnes trying to hold on to what we had and sitting deeper, rather than going for the killer goal. If it WAS about fitness then that's almost as bad. Link to comment
perthshirered
It's a free hit for Aberdeen, all out attack and see what happens, goal difference can't come into it now. Have a right go, McInnes might learn something g from it. Link to comment

The defence backing off and backing off is a problem in itself. Has been happening all through McInnes's time and he's never sorted it. Then they get far enough up the pitch, they're trying not to give away a free kick or penalty. The 35 yard pass back to Lewis and hoof is a major problem for draining energy and giving the other side momentum. Link to comment
CammyB
I think a 4th place finish would be a fair reflection of how poor our performances have been this season. Also can see Hearts doing us a favour tonight though.. Does anyone have a preference for Europa League? Id prefer us to go into QR1 for the competitive games as I remember how shite we were against the Bosnians at home last season in QR2. Link to comment
Geoff_Tipps
Mcinnes will pack the defence against Celtic hoping to keep it tight for 70mins of the game with the intention of having a go in the final 20mins. We will concede in the first 15mins of the game and there will not be a plan B. Celtic 3v0 Aberdeen. 3rd on goal difference. Link to comment

The Boofon
Hearts can pump hibs though ?Then Hibs cant match our points. They are a goal behind. They need us to lose (-1) and they need a draw and a win (+1) to match points and beat us in GD. Link to comment
Shinniesta
We can't finish worse than 3rd if Hibs don't win tonight. Hibs very rarely win at Tynecastle. I think we'll finish 3rd. Hearts 1 Hibs 1Hibs 2 Sevco 1Celtic 4 Aberdeen 0 Hibs to finish 2nd above us on GD Sevco to finish 4th. Link to comment
The Boofon
@@The BoofonYes? GD meaningless for us. We can only improve our GD by beating Celtic which means we win on points. Link to comment
pocrawred
Need to wait until tonight about 10pm to answer It will come down to who wants it more I believe we can get a draw sadlly I think Hibs can do us a big favour Hearts Win - 3rd .............. Hibs have nothing to play for - prediction Rangers win Rangers 2nd Aberdeen 3rd hibs 4th (no change if we lose)Hearts Draw - 2nd............ Hibs and Rangers both have strong reasons to win - prediction Hibs win Aberdeen 2nd Hibs 3rd rangers 4th (if we lose hibs will go through on Goals difference/scored unless we have a high scoring 1 goal loss and they a low scoring score draw and low scoring winHibs narrow win .............. Hibs and Rangers both have strong reasons to win - prediction Hibs win Hibs 2nd Aberdeen 3rd Rangers 4th no change if we lose I think if hearts win tonight that popcorn teeth will still want to beat the huns. No way will he give up and let the Huns walk over them on Sunday. Come on Hearts.... If the Hun cunts kick Hibs over the park like they did to us last night there will be riots in Leith. Morelos is a little cunt. Did you see him turn to the Aberdeen fans and call them bitches? I saw him say puto or similar and that is bitch in Spanish, fkn little grot. Link to comment

DonTron
Genuienly this discussion is embarrassing. We are going to win fuck all again trophy wise this season. Fucking AberDNA and loan players galore in our team, a manager who sold himself out, crowd against the Huns last night non existent (where's the hatred), lack of goals, lack of players, pumped in every big game. Yet here we are discussing where we will finish down to the last goal.Is this what we have become? It's what we've always been for decades. All those "problems" and we still might finish 2nd. That's worth talking about. Link to comment
DonTron
I can only presume you've not been a fan for long cause this hasn't always been the case. How long has it been the case for then? Just started now has it? Finishing second? Fucking second? This has been a shit season and we are winning nothing. I can't wait to tell my grand kids about the time in 2018 we finished second, and we did it because Hibs scored here and there whilst we got pumped by Celtic. Ahhh the good old days. Fuck you on about? It's a poll about where we'll finish, what's the problem? Not long ago we were lucky to get top 6! We haven't finished higher than second in the league since '85! 33 years ago... And how long was the trophy drought? But aye, it's just a recent phenomenon... Right. 1 Link to comment
Betty Swallicks
You stick to happy clapping over second... I preferred hatred and being shit, honestly. Fucking hate 90% of our new breed of fan. 'Oh Derek McInnes'. Wanks. Bide aff those 'roids min. Link to comment
