Yes the fitness is shocking and we have no ideas how to create a chance but there were still players having a go the full 90. The defence backing off and backing off is a problem in itself. Has been happening all through McInnes's time and he's never sorted it. Then they get far enough up the pitch, they're trying not to give away a free kick or penalty.

 

The 35 yard pass back to Lewis and hoof is a major problem for draining energy and giving the other side momentum.
