Lencarl
Derek McInnes has stressed that the Scottish Premiership club are determined to hold on to Scott McKenna in the January transfer window - but will need to consider cashing in on in the Scotland centre-half in the next 18 months. He is hoping Scotland qualify for Euro 2020 with McKenna in the squad and having a great campaign to boost his transfer fee. Link to comment
G31DON
In actual fact, it's empty paper talk to try and keep any prospective transfer fee up after he threw his toys out the pram on deadline day. Link to comment

Could you imagine McKenna's value after playing against England, Croatia and Czech Republic. It will be about a tenner. Link to comment

I'd actually back us to have a better chance against those teams in the setting of a finals tournament than playing Israel and Norway/Serbia in the qualifiers. Link to comment

Parklife
Would fancy us to get 3 or 4 points from Czech and Croatia at home. That'll see us into the last 16. Winning away in Norway or Serbia is the harder part. Link to comment

Tord31
Aye? Why?By my low expectations for Israel/Serbia/Norway games I struggle to envisage lower expectations for other games. Also the home nations record at the last euros was really amazing before considering we get to play the games at Hampden edit to say: McGinn and Magennis were amongst the best players at the last tournament. If we fluke our way there I could actually see us doing something in that setting Link to comment
tightbreeks
Do we have a young cheel coming through if we flog mckenna? Preferably a fermer's loon, who is built like a brick shithouse. Link to comment

tightbreeks
Mcginn againBegin again. He's like a superhero, you don't know he is there until he pops up with a free kick and then disappears. It's uncanny. Link to comment
OnceFaeMintlaw
There was a young man called Niall McGinn (agin),There was a time he’d score goals for fun (agin),But he’s older, fat and not so thin (agin)Aberdeen’s Niall McGinn (agin), began again. Based on some old nursery rhyme, where you could make all lines rhyme through the simple over use of a suffix. Link to comment

France losing the final on home turf.... the Icelandic invasion..... Wales through to the semis....... and the world class performance of Joshua Magennis and Niall McGinn Link to comment
Tord31
Agree with all of that but I didn't remember the bit about France Link to comment
tightbreeks
That 4-0 ass whuppin we gave Copenhagen was class. I'm sure that was the vuvuzela era from the south African world cup. Why can't we do shit like that more often than not. Maybe the players couldn't hear mcinnes instructions and played football. Link to comment
V for Vendetta
I'd be delighted to see us sell McKenna now. Can't see the fee being anything like what we supposedy turned down 18 months ago or whatever it was. Even so, find a in willing to pay a reasonable fee and let him move on. Then bring in a another young player with potential would be the idea. Link to comment
