Lewis Ferguson

shite news for him, shite news for us and shite news for Scotland.

Can only hope he comes back stronger next season. Captaining a side like that potentially to champions league in Italy has been insane. He could have been megabucks this summer.

every chance Motta leaves and Bologna are pish next season and Ferguson isn’t as effective. Seems very possible, we’ve been incredibly unlucky with Ryan Fraser and Scott mckenna not being sold on.

We will still make the same millions in add ons for Ferguson. This injury won’t stop that

Hope for both Lewis & Scotland he's fit for the Euros. Not too concerned on the Aberdeen front though as this lad's set for much bigger things and we'll benefit.

The impact he's made in Italy has been incredible. Really hope he moves to Juve, one of the genuinely great, historic clubs.

He’s maybe got an outside chance of the euros in 2028

It would require an all-comers record from cruciate repair surgery for him to make the Euro's squad.

He'll be doing well to be playing again this side of Xmas

I’ve ran off worse, he’ll start against Gibraltar

I don’t care where he moves, whoever is prepared to pay the biggest fee.

Summer 2025 unfortunately

I've not got a great memory for such things but hasn't he suffered quite a few injuries in his still relatively short career?

Maybe injury prone.

Did he not have 100+ consecutive games for us from his debut as a teenager?  Really do not think he is injury prone.

Went missing in half of them. Sure he's been out injured at least a couple of times.

Or am I mixing him up with that other hun, Barron 🤔

Lewis Ferguson never “went missing” at AFC. Incredibly consistent. Folk who couldn’t see that don’t understand football.
Barron on the other hand will just drift (like CWiss Maguire). Make decent coin, but not much else.

He did. He downed tools. A Hun trait.

No hard feelings as he is what he is and we stand to make decent coin out of him so everyone benefits in the end.

Don’t agree, he was never missing in any game, scoring the winner with a header in the cup against the hun at ibrox(if memory serves me) and celebrating wildly, he also didn’t go missing after he was told he had to wait for a transfer after a transfer request and would say he showed even more professionalism in spite of being a hun(massive drag factor). That is why he will be of a high standard for a big team, professionalism, attributes and good attitude.

stop letting your hate of them cloud your judgement.

If most of our current squad had his attitude, we wouldn’t be anywhere near trouble. It’s arguably his best trait.

After handing in a transfer request and it being rejected, he scored about 12 goals and got a move to a big serie a club for more money than was offered by anyone the previous season.

I am 100% on board with any other player who wants to down tools like that
