Mr John
Here's the club he came from: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karlsruher_SC_II "Karlsruher SC II is the reserve team of German association football club Karlsruher SC, based in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg. Historically the team has played as Karlsruher SC Amateure until 2005." The reserve team of a second division German team. Link to comment
StandFree1982
Must be a bit shit for Craddock when he's basically being told he's worse than a guy who plays for the reserves of a German Second Division side. Why don't we trust our youth? if he's no better than that guy we've got on trial, get rid of him and bring through another keeper who is. But I suspect that's not the case. Link to comment

Worst case scenario is that we have to play Craddock for part of a game. The Rogers is recalled and fills in until Lewis is back. Link to comment

Betty Swallicks
St Mirren will be paying Rodgers 1k a week wage. This keeper will be on 500 quid a week.40 week season = 20k saved = showers at Kingsford paid for. Link to comment

SheepieBaaBaa
Just to confirm... Are any of the people moaning about taking a keeper from obscurity in a lower German league on a trial basis the same people who whinge when other teams find obscure players from lower leagues that turn out to be brilliant and bemoan our lack of ability to do the same? Hopefully not as that would be fucking stupid. 1 1 Link to comment

He's hardly going to be brilliant. but if he was starting for Real Madrid, he would hardly be obscure would he? You realise that signing a player from relative obscurity requires a team to see potential that others miss right? Or do you reckon that they are just taking him on trial to piss people off? Also, can you give examples of obscurely-sourced players who went on to become a success? Link to comment
Reliablesource
See what you are saying, the flip side of that is "fans and players alike won't find this exciting". Hahaha. What? You mean you don't get excited about a reserve goalkeeper that will most likely never play? Link to comment

What are we going to find in this guy, over a week long trial, that his previous team were unable to in over FOUR years? Besides, even if he passes the trial and comes on board, he could be absolutely amazing but unless Lewis gets an injury he's unlikely going to get any game time and released once Rogers is back. strachanmcgheegoal
What if Rogers lost the use of his arms?!Then St Mirren would have a real dilemma. A goal keeper without the use of his arms or pluck their GK coach from retirement. Go with Rodgers and hope theres no crosses would be my advice. Link to comment

Go with Rodgers and hope theres no crosses would be my advice. Is Rogers even first choice at St Mirren? Noticed he was on the bench as they got pumped 6-0 by Sunderland, which may mean he is now first choice. If we've sent him there to be a back-up it makes no sense. Link to comment
