ericblack4boss
its now got to the stage when ive about had it with the two disgraceful entities that are in charge of our game.the devlin and McGregor disgraces are the latest in a long line of instances that have proved that only 2 clubs matter in this stinking sespit that is scottish football.for too long ive seen this game head down the swanny, and our club has stood back and watched afc had a chance to make a stand to switch to a fairer voting structure but at the time voted with celtic to block it.we have also had our chairman openly come out and say he wants a strong sevco.these are just two instances of our club not taking a stand.i have been boycotting scottish cup games but from next season unless our club makes a robust strong objection to the current status quo i will no longer attend any scottish football.i will not subscribe to any sports channels showing scottish games and indeed that will be me finished with scottish football 2 2 Link to comment
Panda
You said you'd quit the forum if McInnes stayed, and posting on AFC Chat has been too much of a draw, so are you fuck going to cut football completely from your life. And it will be football, not just Scottish football, because if you boycotted Scottish football then you'd need to boycott all SFA competitions which extends well beyond the Scottish Premiership. And to not be a hypocrite, you'd need to boycott all UEFA and Fifa competitions as well, which is pretty much everything. So no, you won't be boycotting football. Delete the thread and behave yourself. 4 1 Link to comment

Check with Heather Brock; she seems to be up to speed with such things. On a serious note though, I know pretty much nothing about the legalities, but since complete ignorance is the fundament of many internet comments, I will wade in with: Football clubs are commercial organisations.SPFL is a commercial organisation. If one commercial organisation can be shown to apply bias or incompetence which has a negative financial impact on other commercial organisations, I would expect there to be a legal remedy available. Also not sure where the burden of proof lies etc. but it really would be hilarious if a consortium of clubs, sued the SPFL and the resulting cash settlement meant that there was no prize money available for the clubs that were not part of the action. Almost certainly no legal basis for that whatsoever....but would be beyond awesome. Link to comment

TheRock
The SPFL have signed a deal to show SPFL matches in a load of countries including those in the Australia, New Zealand and countries in the Middle East and Africa. The Irn Bru Cup was even mentioned too. I can only guess they amount of illegal streaming of Irn Bru cup matches that goes on outside of Scotland Doesn't seem to be any mention of how much it is worth though. https://spfl.co.uk/news/spfl-announces-tv-deal-with-bein-sports Link to comment

How many teams would need to fall in line before it can't be ignored? We'll find out soon enough. I hope there have been talks behind the scenes prior to this announcement like there were in 2012 when the clubs agreed the order and timing of their respective statements. Can the spfl really ignore a request by any of its members for clarification talks? Surely Doncaster is accountable to his membership? Link to comment

strachanmcgheegoal
FUCKING classic. The day Millertime puts up the announcement showing where Milne DIDNT hang Celtic out to dry when they called for a judicial review. Or backed Duncan Fraser’s internal call to the SPL to review LNS. To name but two. Are you telling me the semi final timing is coincidence? And I told you I gave the statement 9/10. He got a point deducted for not calling out the corrupt hoors for what they are. 1 1 Link to comment
