Brilliant news, I'm sure he'll go on to bigger things, as will a lot of the youngsters, but the great thing is that clearly the club is treating them well enough to inspire loyalty and they are signing extensions to make sure that the club gets a decent price when they do go.

If ever there was a time to break into the first team, this would be it. Team is going nowhere. Nae worried about McInnes' reluctance to give youngsters a run in the team? The boy Gilmour seems to be earmarked already - rave reviews aots. A crack at the guffy leagues would be the way to go imho.

The club have been much better at signing promising youngsters on decent length contracts in recent years.

 

That's Campbell (twice), McKenna (twice) , Wright and Anderson in recent years.

Great news. I think this lad has excellent potential.

 

I was very impressed with how he handled the last game of the season at Parkhead a few months ago in what was a pressure game against the best team in the country. He was very calm and composed for one so young.

 

Hopefully the manner in which Lewis Ferguson has very quickly forced his way into the first team reckoning is great motivation for Campbell. McInnes obviously has great belief in him to give him a 3 year contract.
