BWG
It's getting a bit ridiculous now, isn't it? Are we using live explosives in training? 1 Link to comment
mcdougall(4)
Mclennan falling on his shoulder today is a freak injury Wilson is getting the muscle niggles you get when coming back after a time out Others need putting down 1 Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
The same freak injury Hoban has? Link to comment
elephantstone78
It's getting a bit ridiculous now, isn't it? Are we using live explosives in training?I remember under pa broon we had a horrendous run of injuries especially in midfield. Ended up having to play vernon in there with predictably bad results. Still, that’s what happens when you buy frausters like Robert milsom and Stephen Hughes I suppose Wilson is the new Scott booth or Jamie smith. 1 Link to comment
OddJob
I think Wilson was just not risked so made sense. Hoban we already knew what he was like so no surprise and as mentioned McLennan is unlucky and hopefully will be fit for next match. He’s a fair tank like. If I was Forrester tho I’d be concerned as to how I’m not getting a start even in yesterday’s game despite our injuries? Going to be a hard season for him it looks like Link to comment
elephantstone78
^He should try and be less shite. That Should see his appearances fair stack up. Link to comment

RUL
I thought Hoban had left the club? He got his injury and then delayed the operation for some reason, won't be back until January at least. Link to comment

BWG
If Hoban is fit in January then we may see him back but I think we are better just avoiding him. It's a shame for the lad because when he's played he's looked very good, but his injury proneness is something we can't really be risking. Link to comment
V for Vendetta
Any timelines on the other 4? Link to comment
starryfish
I wonder if the injuries are a product of McInnes giving the players a full pre season - in previous seasons we have played competitive European matches earlier in the season. Link to comment
Tord31
Wright, May, Wilson and Ross are back for Hearts McGinn is doubtful for Hearts and Rangers McKenna is suspended for Hearts Tansey never gets a mention The last mention regarding either Reynolds or Hoban is January Link to comment

The return of the first 4 is very welcome. We really need Wilson to take off. But I'm also keen to see Wright and Ross get more game time and hoping they can be a real spark up front (along with GMS) Link to comment

From what little I saw of Hoban, I thought it was obvious he was class act. Looks a quality player. Would probably be playing for the Watford first team if he could keep himself fit! Unfortunately, when you look at his previous record, physically the lad doesn't appear to be cut out for a career as a full time footballer! Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Any word on GMS? Assuming a pretty bad concussion at least, as he looked like he was out cold for a minute.Concussion normally means you cannot play for at least seven days I think, so he will likely miss next two games. RUL
He got released from hospital so medics feel he’s ok but looks a lot like he did when he got pulled out the river. I think mcinnes said fine for weekend but out for rangers but can’t see him starting weekend. Link to comment

Could be wrong. Link to comment
Tord31
Reynolds was in the squad tonight. Campbell and Reynolds the unlucky 19 and 20. Tansey no where to be seen. Link to comment
Shinniesta
Any news on the injury to Frank Ross? Never been seen in a match day squad since August. Contract is up this summer be interesting to see if he gets offered a new deal. He did look good in his only appearance this season but then again it was only against Stubbs' St Mirren. Shinniesta
Think it's a back injury. That's what I thought too but I googled it and there's a site that reports it as being a knee injury? So fuck knows. Would you say he is worth a new deal KSL? Link to comment

Would you say he is worth a new deal KSL?I'd give him another 12 month deal if he is willing to sign it.He's highly thought of but does seem rather injury prone and not sure the club are willing to give up on him, but also I'd imagine they are loath to commit for 2 years if he continues to be picking up injuries. That's all if's, but's and maybes, but there is potential there and I'd like to see what he's truly capable of. Link to comment
Shinniesta
I'm thinking along similar lines. The boy clearly has ability but due to injuries we haven't seen anywhere enough of him yet to make a proper judgement. Hopefully he is fit when the season resumes in a few weeks time but not sure how many chances he will get this season even if he gets himself fit due to how tight things are in the league. McInnes will stick with his tried and trusted players. Link to comment
Tord31
I'd be surprised if we don't release him now. Certainly not space to have Wright and Ross floating around as bit part players. Link to comment

Certainly not space to have Wright and Ross floating around as bit part players.I'd rather have them than Forrester to be honest. Frank Ross showed more in two games (against Sevco & St Mirren) than Forrester has ever shown for us. But I agree that both he and Wright really need to kick on and seriously threaten for permanent first team places soon in the way the likes of McKenna and McLennan have. Link to comment
Tord31
Theres no way we will release Frank rossInteresting shout to be so certain. We can't carry more than 2 or 3 squad players. There is not space for everyone but lots to play out between now and the summer. Link to comment
ollie1903
Frank's got a very bad back injury. I'd certainly hope he'd be offered a new deal though as he's a real game changer on his day. Link to comment
TheRock
Can't imagine McInnes handing out a contract to a player with an injury. Link to comment
