The Cheat In The Black Sunday

John Beaton for our game. Willie Collum for the other.

Well... although Beaton was apparently a season ticket  holder at the now defunct Glasgow Rangers, I do feel he appears to give us a decent crack of the whip.

Certainly compared to that fucking gluepot Collum, who has fucked us over on multiple occasions.

So I am happy with that allocation.

Yeah, I know... this opinion will be ridiculed come 6.30pm on Sunday.

Probably earlier. Fitiver.

This is how far the bias is now accepted as norm that a season ticket holder at ibrox can be seen as best choice

Of course I can, the guy is a professional

I backed it up by showing the fact we beat the scum the last 2 times he reffed the game

If anything, this proves him and the fans wrong in assuming the ref would be crooked

None of the referees in Scottish football are competent enough to warrant taking a view on that in my opinion, particularly as they are effectively immune from the consequences of poor decision making.

Maclean has refereed both our league cup wins this season, and refereed the final when we won it.

So technically he's a good luck charm and hopefully he referees the final for us..

Good luck charm or not, he's an incompetent bombscare of a ref. Repeatedly makes incredulous calls, and has a habit of doubling down once he's made the first one, almost as if he's making the point that he's in charge so you'd better all just STFU.

Edit to add I never suggested he was biased, just useless.

Regarding referees refereeing games their own team plays in, it would be pretty sensible to have all the referees declare their allegiances and schedule around that.

I'm sure that happens in countries with professionally governed football.

Trouble is the so and so's up here would never admit to having an allegiance to any particular team and I do not see how that idea could be legally enforced. Don't know how it works abroad though.
