Dunty
Nae a bad 90 minutes Work will begin on the training facility installation next week or the week after. Two week delay on the site clearance work due to there being more of the old beach end having to be removed from the site, as was previously thought. No mention of who the construction company is. Costs risen from £10m to £11.5m, due to one of the training pitches being built which will be exact same hybrid build as will the stadium pitch. Club will be onsite in July 2019. Result of the judicual review will be known in May but has no bearing on the training facility. Capacity of Pittodrie at Euro league group matches would have been 13K, had we qualified, due to UEFA stipulationsReally? The judicial review is against the entire facility is it not? Link to comment

Guest milne_afc
Sorry, what does the point about the beach end mean? The old beach end was dumped in the landfill at Kingsford. What did the 13k for group stage matches make a difference?Had we made the group stages of the Europa League, the crowd at Pittodrie would have been reduced to 13000, due to UEFA stipulations on distance from the pitch to the stands etc etc. MIGHT have got special dispension this season but not next, or beyond Link to comment

What’s the formula. I’m not poking holes in your point, just interested. P.s is it the same for champs league group stages. That’s the only place I see Aberdeen once pat takes on the job. Dunty
No, just the stadium But the judicial review is against the council and how they have passed the whole facility. The wanks have constantly said if they win they expect the club to have to restore the land to how it was. So it clearly is also against the training facility. Is this just the club sticking their fingers in their ears again? Had we made the group stages of the Europa League, the crowd at Pittodrie would have been reduced to 13000, due to UEFA stipulations on distance from the pitch to the stands etc etc. MIGHT have got special dispension this season but not next, or beyondSo what's that - 7,000-8,000 seats left empty due to a few rows being left empty? Was this explained in detail - or did the club announce it and everyone just took their word for it? Surely someone challenged it? Would hearts be allowed to play group stage matches at tyncastle? CityCentre
Duncan Fraser's response to the question about why Rangers and Celtic get their own end at Hampden was an embarrassment to be honest. Everyone knows in Scotland why it is, and it has nothing to do with debentures. The fact he covers for the SFA is deeply concerning for us going forward. The club would benefit greatly if Cormack took over from him. The reason we now stand up to the SFA/SPFL is Cormack. As has been said, it wasn't a conversation it was a lecture, there was no questions from the floor at all, other than Aberdeen FC approved questions read out by another club employee - a misleading description of the evening. The greatest positive for me was Dave Cormack's attitude and comments. A worthwhile night, but next time open up the floor to questions. Link to comment

Did only Celtic and Rangers fans buy debentures? He also had the cheek to use the 11/1 voting structure as an excuse for high ticket prices at Parkhead and Tynecastle, "nothing we can do about it". Eh who's fault is it we're lumbered with that ridiculous set up Wasn't impressed with that gimp Fraser at all. 2 Link to comment
