Parklife
Happy birthday, Neil. How come, when I was 10, and you watched me stick 2 past an opposing team, you never asked me to play for the Dons? Link to comment

Yorston Vasey
An absolute travesty that he celebrated his 30th birthday playing for fucking Motherwell. Bloke was at the top of the footballing world in his late 20s, but that cunt Durrant's disgraceful dive and the ensuing weegie media witch hunt put paid to all of that. 5 Link to comment

manboobs109
We'll need to start a wee list of McDoogs tall tales. My favourite is the Irish firemen that warned him about Ryanair skimping on jet fuel. Link to comment

I wasn't around at the time, but surely Durrant's simulation would receive short shrift - and a yellow card to boot - in the modern game. Link to comment

Old manny
What about this one against Hamburg in the 1983 Super Cup? Peter Weir loses the full back like he wasn't there and Simmie bullets home the opener, class goal. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Simmie and Cooper were magic together. And only 21 and 19 in the ecwc final. Not many central midfield partnerships would have won a European trophy younger than that. Maybe the ajax team in the 90s with Davids and Seedorf but can't think of any others. And Black was still 19 and Hewitt 20. Link to comment

The one versus Bayern - that ball and everything between that ball and the net is going in the goal. That encapsulated everything about him as a player and us as a team at the time. The semi goal tho https://youtu.be/MfW5NSM1eRc?t=256 Absolute class. Link to comment
