Aberdeen 3 - 4 Celtic

Some brutal defending in there for the goals. Although we were generally well disciplined the lack of concentration for the goals is inexcusable. If Max Lowe plays we at least draw that game IMO.

BT sport having an absolutely horrendous Tim love in this afternoon. It's incredible that Celtic have managed to win 7 trophies in a row in the face of such remarkable bias.

Played well but the result was never in doubt. Aside from a nothing game (to celtic) we haven't laid a glove on this Celtic side. McInnes is Brenda's bitch.

Every manager in the league is Brenda's bitch because they've won 7 domestic trophies from 7 since he arrived. If they win on Saturday at Ibrox the league is as good as won yet again. So unless they get a bad away draw in the SC and have an off day they will very likely win the treble yet again.

Well beaten despite the scoreline showing something a bit closer.

Considine and then Ball were dragged everywhere by Christie in the first half. Him dropping deep and then sinclair or McGregor going into the hole left in central defence. We had no idea how to cope with it.

Central midfield improved in terms of fight when Shinnie went there but it left Considine v forrest and that's always a worry as it proved for one of the goals.

I don't know how many times we've had to watch celtic teams under rodgers come to pittodrie and get loads of time and space on the ball for their central defenders and brown as they are always 3v2 in that area. It happens every single match and we are faced with central defenders making unchallenged 40 and 50 yard runs into our half. It's ridiculous that mcinnes doesn't look to stop this.

We gave celtic way to much respect today but some of that was down to not having Devlin and lowe in the back 4. That back 4 we ended up playing was a bit shambolic today to say the least.

Somebody needs to call him on it though.

"Derek, why is it that you see the way Hibs, Kilmarnock, Motherwell and Livingston play against Celtic at home you decide to show them more respect than they are due? Do you not think that their defence is the weakest part of their team? Given that 9 times out of 10 this feeble approach ends in failure would you not be as well giving your fans something to shout about and get stuck right into the cunts?"

Asked nobody in the media, ever.

Logan and McKenna defending the 3rd and 4th goal with the wrong foot was horrible.

Millertime saying it’s acceptable to get beat cos of the differences in finances but then scolding Considine for getting outpaced by someone who’s on 3 or 4 time his wage is typical of the thick cunt.

Whoever said the first pen wasn’t a pen is retarded.

Hartson’s a ginger ned.

Few on here sitting waiting for a loss to get torn in. Good run of results ultimately ended by the best team in the league. We usually recover well.

Do you think our second half approach was correct?

If we got "torn in" today I would have had nae complaints in losing, but that was beyond meek.

We need to take grow a set in home games against both cheeks.

Beyond meek? We scored 3 goals against the best defence in the league.

What let us down were the personnel. Considine/Logan/Ball switching off. 2 of these players deputising to injured players. They brought on a 9 million pound player who changed the game with a strong performance.

Can argue that "having a go" is the best tactic but I don't see any evidence for it. We got beat by the better team and will more often than not against Celtic.

So how do you explain Hibs, Livingston, Motherwell and Killie taking points off them then?

I'll answer that for you - by squaring up to them high up the park and getting in their faces.

Us on the other hand, meek.

Ball at fault for the first, lost his man in the middle of the field and was playing catch up. If he’d been paying attention, he’d have been 2-3 yards deeper when the ball came across and been able to hook it away properly.

Considine rinsed by Forrest for the 2nd, where have we heard that before.

Nice finish front Eduoard for the 3rd, but lucky it fell his way after a great tackle from McKenna.

Ball and Logan especially really poor for the 4th. Should have been tackled by either of them, or at least taken out long before he got near the box.

Offered very little going forward today, a typical McInnes performance against a bigger team today. Got the balance between defending and attacking very wrong in the second half.

We were good in the first half.

Bold tactics, going man to man which worked when we were tight.

In the second half we weren’t as tight and gave them more space which they exploited in a way which a team with their resources will, especially with some of our poor defending, but their goals were coming.

Thought we did well to come back and score three goals, on another day we’d have won.

Celtic are always up for a game with us.

Ref was fucking honking.

Livingston sat in. Motherwell got battered 1-0, held on and nicked one. Hibs got Celtic in an extreme off day when they had multiple injuries. Killie got absolute pumped 5-0 by "having a go".
