CalgaryDon
https://www.afc.co.uk/2019/06/22/atlanta-midfielder-joins-on-loan/ A little bit about him on the Aberdeen website. Sounds more promising then Dom Ball. "The loan is for the remainder of the 2019 MLS season" - when does the MLS season officially end? Link to comment
Donmacca
According to wikipedia he's a forward, winger, full back. Hasn't made a 1st team appearance yet so guessing Cormack has pushed this through to aid his development Link to comment
North_Andy_Dandy
Welcome aboard loon! Cormack’s ties getting used, I’d imagine Atlanta are covering the cost of his wages which is a bonus. Link to comment
Tord31
good move @@Dad heading over to smooth the deal Link to comment
Tord31
Looks like he was a right winger/forward at uni under Bobby Clark scoring goals left, right and centre. 14th pick in the 2018 draft but has not cut the mustard at Atlanta. Most recently he's been there back up right back. Probably Atlanta covering his wages until Christmas and its a punt to nothing to keep our american investors sweet welcome aboard Myles Anderson II Link to comment
BWG
Utility player then. Well at least Dom Ball won't be back. 1 Link to comment
1903Fitba
https://www.afc.co.uk/2019/06/22/atlanta-midfielder-joins-on-loan/Sounds more promising then Dom Ball. Imagine actually thinking that. Boys played about 40 competitive games for an MLS Second team and 80 college games which are on par with Sunday League. Hope he’ll be good, imagine he’ll be shite. Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
And a deflection off the wall. Link to comment
torry_battery_ram
Clearly brought in as cover if we end up getting injuries. I remember people writing off Sam Cosgrove as he had a poor record in English non league football and he's done not too bad so lets give this Gallagher guy a chance before writing him off as shite Link to comment

Shinniesta
Definitely looks like he has ability from the clips and for sure finishes better than the current version of Stevie May can but whether he can cut the mustard at SPFL level remains to be seen. He's only 23 lets hope it's a success. Welcome to the Dons Jon! 1 Link to comment
Tord31
some of his ex notre dam teammates seem very sure he'll make it. promising Link to comment
V for Vendetta
Bit of an odd one as the lad hasn't even played for Atlanta Utd it seems? Squad player I suppose and no harm in having cover for Logan. Any left backs..? Link to comment
TheRock
Been playing for Stephen Glass at Atlanta. Can only assume that played a part (even if it was only his manager being able to actually speak from experience about the city and club) Link to comment
OddJob
Yeah definitely a random signing but at the same time it’s good to form some sort of link with the Yankee teams and if he does end up doing well can hopefully mean some more guys heading over in the future. Welcome to the club loon Link to comment
V for Vendetta
Been playing for Stephen Glass at Atlanta 2. Can only assume that played a part (even if it was only his manager being able to actually speak from experience about the city and club)Fixed it Link to comment
TheRock
I thought that was like the equivalent of their Colt teams. Are they actually different clubs? Link to comment
V for Vendetta
I thought that was like the equivalent of their Colt teams. Are they actually different clubs?I've no idea but I assume the same as you did. It just stuck out to me when I read that article- he's never played for their first team, so I'd guess he's a bit of a gamble/project player again or he's simply here to provide a wee bit of cover. Or.. maybe it's to open the door to other opportunities? Fuck knows. Link to comment
Guest milne_afc
Maybe he's efter a job on the rigs Link to comment
super_al
This seems a very odd signing. The guy is 23 and never played in a professional football match. Sorry but we have signed one decent player in 5 thus far. Link to comment
Ke1t
An absolute nothing signing on the face of it. So... moving on... Link to comment

Hope he’ll be good, imagine he’ll be shite.I wouldn’t write off lower league American Football completely. The lower leagues are pretty decent level here as it’s actually a very popular sport to play, which surprised me back in 2001 when we played some local teams and they were phenomenal. The College teams attract a lot of players from the British Isles too who go over on scholarships as a method of breaking into professional leagues as well as an education Hope he’s good too imagine he’ll take a while to get up to speed though Link to comment
