Rolling Stones / Mick Jagger, Micheal Jackson, Carpenters, Oasis, or David Bowie. Just a few names that came to mind above. Incidentally, Bowie was due to be next in line for the biopic treatment. A script was written and casting had been done. But the dozy twats left asking Duncan Jones if they could use Bowie's music until the last minute. He gleefully told them to piss off and the film has been on hold since. Link to comment

Torry Tosser
Check out the film Love and Mercy The young Wilson is played by Paul Dano and Old by John Cusack[/quote. Seen it,wasn't that impressed, nor were most critics.Dano is good as young Brian,Cusack makes it all become a little over melodramatic as the older Brian. The book "Wouldn't it be Nice" is a good read. Torry Tosser
Was said 'The Rose' starring Bette Midler was loosely based on the life of Janis Joplin. Regardless. great movie and soundtrack. Think a lot of music biopics are average, as has been said. 'The Doors' was particularly shite. Would like to see a movie based on the life of one of BB King, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Lightning Hopkins etc. One of the old blues guys. Suppose they all crossed paths at some stage. Has a biopic been made of James Brown?Janis was a nympho. The story goes after one gig apparently, young loons were queuing up outside her hotel room to do the business....If I wisna first in queue I widna bother Link to comment
