BT are looking for beta trialists for a new service called BT Digital Voice.  They are currently short of trialists and looking for more people to take part in the trial.

Basically as customers move services onto fibre broadband, the telephony service will need to have a fibre based replacement as the old analogue infrastructure moves to digital.

BT expect that the majority of customers will have a fully digital telephone service by 2025 using your broadband router.

HOW TO TAKE PART

To take part in the beta test, you need to be a BT customer with a telephony or broadband (or both) services provided by BT.

You don’t need to be a super tech-head to take part – they are looking for customers with a range of experience.

WHAT IS IN IT FOR ME?

During the period of the beta test – BT will cover all costs in relation to your telephony and broadband services (so they’ll credit you for the cost of your broadband, line rental and calls) – and also supply a new broadband router and/or new BT Digital Voice telephone handsets which you will be able to keep after the trial has taken place.

WANT TO TAKE PART?
  1. Sign up at the following website:  https://bt.centrecode.com/key/Beta (BT are aware that this link sometimes doesn’t work.  If that happens, email me and I’ll get BT to manually create an account for you)
  2. After you have created your trial account, please email or WhatsApp me with the email address you have used to sign up to the trial – my email address is graeme.mackay@live.co.uk
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP?

Sign up to the trial expires at midnight on Sunday 30 June 2019.

Any problems contact me on the Whatsapp Inverness Reds group.
