At Pittodrie if you stand and bounce up and down in the South Stand you look like a complete and utter tube. Because it was in the final moments of the game. Everyone was standing on seats, or at least standing in general. The section shown on film was directly beside the rangers fans, and the place just erupted. It was almost like being on terracing, everyone piling over seats. Superb. No atmosphere, no real excitement, no high pressure games, no fortress pittodrie, no cauldron tension, no world-class players, no expectations of trophies EVERY year...... no wonder there's nothing like that at Pittodrie any more.
