As per title.  For me:

Most famous: either Kraftwerk (Southside Festival, Germany) or Luciano Pavarotti (Glasgow SECC).

Most niche: Arthur "I am the God of Hellfire" Brown (Wickerman festival, Galloway).

Niche: One of those Mexican guitar bands on Regent Street, London. They played WAATIDWM.

Famous - Quite difficult to define most famous.  Ed Sheeran in Dublin might win it on a most listened to basis.  RHCP in Glasgow.  Foo Fighters a couple of times.  RATM at  T in the Park.  

Niche - Rammstein and Apocalyptica in Manchester.  Guess that is niche in that it is Germany language metal band supported by a Finnish symphonic metal band made up of 3 cellists and a drummer.  Either that or Mindless Self Indulgence at what I think was Moshulu at the time.  Music probably adopted by incels nowadays, if they are in anyway relevant.

Gatecrasher at the Don Valley Stadium on Millenium Eve without doubt the best event I've ever been at.

The song must have been getting played on the radio because there was a bit of a crowd there and I think they played it about 3 times that night.
