Chick Dung on Radio Shortbread. Saying Morton are in deep trouble financially. Owner not willing to put any more cash into the club. Obviously the manager walked away a couple of days back to help save the club cash (his own explanation).

Chick has just claimed that the entire footballing budget of Morton doesn't even equal what Hearts are paying Robbie Neilson himself.  Mikey Stewart immediately called him out as essentially talking shite.

Hopefully the grants announced this week will be able to keep all these clubs going

Seen morton manager was on 80k a year but I don't think it's any surprise that clubs bringing no money in are in trouble.
