At that age it's impossible to know whether they'll really ever make it - we all looked like the next Maradona when we were 14 or 15. 

It is interesting at the moment to see MacKenzie breaking through at the age of 21, having never really been mentioned until half way through last season.

Bavidge is still at school and not 16 yet. He is still a long, long way away from first team level. Definitely a talent at age group level though.

Might be off the mark here but it’s surely a sad indictment on both our scouting and elite youth coaching program that we haven’t brought a top notch striker through our academy since Jess and Booth.

Ive not included Michie, Mackie, Anderson or McLennan in the definition of top notch striker.

They have only had a bid accepted for McCart but offered a shit contract so he told them to bolt. Kerr is just forum rumours; They put in a really poor offer for Kerr that was instantly rejected and haven't been back with new bid. Kerr didn't play on Sunday because he has a knock and is 50/50 to make Thursday - nothing to do with a transfer.
